Huh? It does not follow that just because a corporation exists, that it is due bailouts. Or, am I missing your argument here?

In the case of BP (or any oil corporation), we're all tasked with paying for their damages to the environment - BP is a shield, enforced by government, that protects the actors from direct retribution for their decisions and actions. Even worse, the government then limits the degree to which this legal fiction is held accountable for any damages caused. The government also secures oil contracts, shipping lanes, and new oil fields (Iraq is a great example). These corporations profit from gains, and socialize their losses and cost of business.

Fannie Mae was an example of bailouts, primarily, yes. But also mortgage backed securities, and the shielding of prosecution and losses of those who put together fraudulent goods and sold them on the derivatives market. Since Fannie Mae is a GSE, we covered losses on both fronts.

When Ron speaks against corporate personhood, it is because it shields the people who make decisions that go bad from any liability, the exact opposite of personal responsibility.

Christ..yet another refusing to understand the errors made a long the way, and putting ALL the blame on the media. Do you realize how short sighted that sounds just putting all the blame on fox friggin news? With this attitude, this movement will never go anywhere at all. Yes, sure, he got f'd over in IA, but the campaign pretty much put all its chips into IA and deflating so quickly afterward, just proved what the goal would be afterward. And when NH ended, it was more obvious than ever with the endless hiatuses during actual poll bumps and key endorsements, coupled with a horrendous debate performance he had.

WHEN RON PAUL WAS ABLE TO TAKE HIS MESSAGE DIRECTLY TO VOTERS, HE WAS WINNING.

People absolutely ate it up. "yeah, that makes sense,". I bet I've heard that exact sentence a dozen times in the last 6 months from new converts describing to me how they started supporting Ron Paul after hearing him in debates. People aren't idiots(mostly). They just watch too much foxnews. The sooner we all realize this the better off our movement will be.

I'll try to find the poll, but polling completely backs you up. Among GOP members who don't watch Fox News, Ron Paul was at like 40%. Among regular Fox viewers? It was like 5%.

If this is the case then it is the responsibility of the candidate and the campaign to find a way to better present their message to Fox News viewers. We knew from the very beginning the media was not going to be favorable to Paul, so in order to achieve success the campaign should have found ways to overcome the media bias.

If that would take Romney below the 20% threshold that's a pretty big deal.

When you add up the number for each congressional district, Romney should have 5840 votes, which would be 19.7% of the vote, just enough to make all candidates eligible for delegates. By adding just a few hundred to his total, the stateGOP was able to put him at 20.9%, crossing the 20% threshold and thus making it possible only for him to gain the delegates Santorum will not.

I'm fairly certain that it was just a typo in Congressional District 2. It looks like they flipped Romney and Paul numbers. As you can tell, in all of the other CDs, the results go alphabetically, but in CD2 Romney comes before Paul. I emailed the guy for clarification anyways, but I don't think the statewide total will change.
