The Kansas Caucus process NEEDS the HELP of Ron Paul Supporters NOW!
Jobs include:

1. Counting Votes

2. Verifiying Registered Voters :)

3. Ron Paul Discussion Groups

4. An approved Ron Paul Speaker for the Candidate!

5. Getting the Vote OUT for Ron Paul Support TEAMS

6. Exit Polling

Kansas Caucus will be held on Feb 9, 2008. You MUST BE IN LINE at a Caucus location by 10:00am. Then we will qualify VOTERS, Listen to Speaches then VOTE.

Find THE Caucus NEAR you and GET Involved. Organizers from All the KANSAS Ron Paul Meetup Groups will be meeting to plan for the Caucus and place people in these jobs. The Kansas GOP needs people to volunteer. They will be promoting this event via radio ads and all else is up to us...Ron Paul Supporters to GET OUR PEOPLE OUT TO VOTE. No excuses. This is a MANDITORY Meetup event.

Wanna Know More? Go To: www.ksgopcaucus.org Here you will find a Kansas Caucus location near you within the district you live. All the GOP organizers of these Caucuses throughout Kansas NEED help and have expressed that they don't have a budget to get out the vote. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate with on the ground support!

Ok, I think I'm going to try and become a delegate in Reno Co. I'll download the form this weekend and get it filled out.

I think the nearest Meetup is in Wichita.

Several Kansas caucus questions

This is my first experience with an election of this type, so I apologize if these questions seem overly simplistic. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know how the process is going to get RP on the ballot? (Only Guiliani and McCain have filed, thus far.)

I'm a registered Republican but do not have a voter card. Will I need this to vote at the caucus?

If so, is it obtained at the county election office?

Aren't delegates obligated to vote at the convention for the winner of our local caucus?

I looked over the Kansas caucus site but could not find these answers.

This is my first experience with an election of this type, so I apologize if these questions seem overly simplistic. Thanks in advance! This is EVERYONE'S first experience. However it it NOT our last. Thousands have become interested and active. That will not go away after the 2008 elections! :)

Does anyone know how the process is going to get RP on the ballot? (Only Guiliani and McCain have filed, thus far.) Yes. A fee of $5000.00 is paid to the Kansas GOP and intention to run forms accompany this fee. I sent those to Ron Paul and they
got that done quickly.

I'm a registered Republican but do not have a voter card. Will I need this to vote at the caucus? As am I. The GOP site (www.ksgopcaucus.org) says "it is not needed" HOWEVER Just 10 days ago I was on a continuing mission for the truth (facts about the rules) of the caucus in Kansas and the GOP stopped helping me as they saw a Democrat registration. I re-registered more than 6 months ago. The people who are suppost to be the MOST updated are more than 6 months behind. If this was the exact information on the voter rolls when YOU go to vote you will be denied. You will NOT get passed the registration table. It will be Saturday morning and NO ONE from your county office will be available to verify YOUR current legal status. WILL YOU TAKE THAT CHANCE? I Won't Leave Home Without My Voter Card. (You can get a voter card from the county election office in which you live.)

If so, is it obtained at the county election office? YES.

Aren't delegates obligated to vote at the convention for the winner of our local caucus? In Kansas yes. But Ron Paul supporters should cover ALL bases. Dominate
2 districts and have delegates as well. For detailed information contact: www.ronpaul.meetup.com/43 -Steve Shute

I looked over the Kansas caucus site but could not find these answers.
The Kansas GOP site is an overview and certainly does not have ALL the answers
a voter will need. Please be sure that you are part of a MEET-UP group in YOUR area.

...I will not be able to post here very often as we are ON THE GROUND NOW canvasing. PLEASE help the SURE THING Ron Paul Voters in YOUR area get:

READY? REGISTERED. VOTE!

Dealine for registration is Jan 25, 2008. DON'T wait. If you are not certain that YOU are a registered Republcian then call your county election office. If you KNOW that you are not a registered Republican get RE-REGISTERED TODAY BEFORE LUNCH!! It takes up to 10 days to get your voter registration card.

bump..

come on Kansas.. with Romney out of the way you need to pull a win for Paul. There's good info in this topic on how to make sure you can caucus on Saturday morning. Get your voter registration card and have it in hand on Saturday. Be prepared to speak (print out the statement from the ron paul site if nothing else).
