It's been a month and there isn't an official date, just screw it i'm not coming unless everyone stops arguing and comes to one date that RP said.

It's sad...I have all but lost interest at this point. If nobody can even decide on a date, we can't even do anything to spread the word or make personal plans to attend.

Step 1: decide on a date

The Granny warriors picked a date that excludes most all college students, and gives one month to try to get the word out and make plans...

Those old ladies set a date... yes... but that's not the D.C. March we are planning.

Let them march alone if they want to.

Its not a matter of "deciding" on the date. Its a matter of getting PERMITS for the date. People are actively working to obtain these permits, but alas, the "gub'ment" is slow.

I am sure that all of the groups will rally together once one of them gets a permit.

Patience is a virtue. Simply wait for RP to announce the official date.

Screw Granny Warriors and their 'We're doing a march regardless" - they're just out for attention and repeatedly attack the campaign and are now trying to undermine it - and Ron Paul.

The Granny Warriors are no friends of Ron Paul and should be dis-owned by any serious Paul supporters.

It's not a matter of deciding on a date. It's a matter of securing a permit on an available date. As someone who has been involved in organizing rallies in D.C. in the past, I can tell you that it usually requires putting in a request for a specific date, months and months in advance. The park permit office allows up to one full year to secure a date. Most political organizations always try to plan their events in the summer and put in their aps several months in advance.

I have been in contact with the permit office in D.C.. They currently have over 900 applications. Revolutionmarch.com submitted the permit ap and D.C has received it. It is only a matter of time.

This is not about choosing a date. The delay has to do with securing a permit.

!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why on earth are people trying to get permits for anything? I thought Ron Paul (i.e. the campaign) will announce a date. I don't get it.

Give me a god damn break - that's so incredibly harsh that it's borderline insane. The Granny Warriors have done a LOT for Ron Paul as well.

They're just a different group with different methods - what's wrong with wanting to do their own march? Why not let the market decide, if it came to that?

Don't you see? We need a permit for what is a RIGHT!!! For a Ron Paul rally? Our Ron Paul Revolution that mirrors the first one now needs a permit for an inherent right?

I say secrew the SOBs and let's pick our own date and if they arrest 100,000 people who are excercising their first amendment rights it might just get us the media attention we've been longing for.

OK Now that I have vented resume the sheeple march by the law as I know my revolutionary candidate will do because he's such a law abiding citizen and so are his followers.

Sure I'm frustrated about this. We NEED a date and being always suspicious about government power I wouldn't be surprised if someone, some goverment goon behind the scenes isn't putting some kind of pressure or excerting some kind of influence to make this rally become inconsequential.

We need to make this rally, no matter how many people show up, something ALL of the American people and the establishment will take notice of.
