Just voted for Ron Paul...

Voted! Did anyone ask about voter affidavits? I did and they had no idea what I was talking about. They called someone and they didn't know either. At least I took pictures!

Voted.

Ron Paul was third listed on the ballot that I used over here on the west side of MI.

Why do they have DROPOUTS on the ballot?? Shit, they might want to whiteout "Ron Paul" and write Jim Gilmore in his spot while they're at it. They sound very inept, and that doesn't bode well for those of us with a watchful eye for vote fraud.

Ha. On the ballot in my county Ron Paul was in the first slot:D:p
The rest of the day I will get every one I know out and even do a little babysitting.
Good luck to the rest of you.

One more and more coming after they get off work. Nobody at the polls except workers. Snowing and the roads are not plowed yet here. Took a ride to another town and went by the polling place and there were only 4 cars there. Probably workers, as they were snow covered.

This is good news. Won't get my hopes up but I like the way this sounds

Just got back.

There was a news pollster outside, so I stood and filled out the partisan survey - same exit poll questions as before except:
Regardless of who you vote for which is more important, Issues or 'electability'
and
How do Mitt's ties to Michigan effect your voting?

I was appalled at how many white survey were filled out (brown for R, white for D).

In my precinct there were 68 ballots counted (D + R), at least two for Paul (my wife and I).

I'm going back up over lunch to signwave at Democrats, as they don't get it. How do people that don't watch the news remember when to vote?

My ballot looked exactly as dawn's. I wonder if Mitt is going to win????

I was the only one at my precinct voting. However, due to my hanging out waiting to hear about the affidavit about 4 more people streamed in. None were old. I did however see a lot of Democrat ballots while I stood there snooping.

Because each state has a deadline to be removed from the ballot (usually 30-90 days before the election). Sometimes candidates who drop out do not have their names removed or their is not enough time to do so.

did you try to tell them there vote does not count?

I live in a small town that has about 1000 residents. I voted at about 8:30 this morning and I was number 24 to vote this morning. I don't think that's too bad of a turnout for an hour and a half after the polls opened.
