Just paid off my student loan

I wish I'd gone to community college. :/
I did that for the first two years to get my AA, and then xfered that to a 4 year university to finish up my BS. That's why I didn't have that much debt, but since my income has been fairly minimal since college it was hard to pay it off.

Amazing what it costs to go to college these days. It cost about $6000/full year in-state tuition (included classes, room and board, generous food plan) at a very prominent state school back in the late 90's.

Heck I'm not that old but school only ran $4k/semester plus living expenses. I worked through college (like a dog, so it supplied me with money and less time to drink beer) and walked away debt free as far as college goes.

Now my mortgage that'll take awhile, kids are like a never ending bucket of money with a gapping hole in the bottom.

No debt and no kids. The future looks promising for this college grad.

Smart, so to speak.
