So I just got a Facebook friend request from an old high school friend. So I accept. Turns out he is now a devote Socialist. Hardcore. I read through his info and I find his "religion" part. His comment there is "I don't support organized crime".

While I too don't agree with ORGANIZED religion, I found it funny how he was all for big government. So my first wall comment: "Long time bro! If you don't support organized crime, why do you support government control? Welcome to Thunderdome, hope you thought out this friend request.....

Sorry, just thought it funny how 95% of young people my age think.

Oh good lord!!! (so to speak)

Obviously he does not see the brutal irony of disparaging organized religion, while worshiping organized government... I can't help but wonder what improvement he feels there is in having a dictate from the dictator rather then a dictate from whoever said god told him so.
