Just learned that Ted Cruz didn't vote on Rand's Audit the Fed bill

I just learned that by watching a Reality Check.

How can anyone here support Cruz now? Rubio was there to vote on the bill. The bill needed 60 votes. It got 53. Cruz wasn't there.

That reality check completely destroys Cruz.

Simple. What brought me to the Ron Paul party was the war issue. Donald Trump lied about being against the Iraq war from the beginning. In fact now I see his lie as a double lie. On the debate stage Trump lied and said "I'm the only one here that was against the Iraq war from the beginning." Rand corrected him and pointed out that he, Rand, was also against the Iraq war from the beginning. But the truth is Rand Paul was really the only one who had been consistently against the Iraq war. But Trump was also for the Libyan war after he should have known better. And he lied about that too and said he was against the Libyan war. The man will lie right to our faces about something that is very important to me.

Nobody here supports Ted Cruz - a few people, very few, may vote for him, but it's mostly an anti-Trump vote, least of the evils kinda thing.

I think Cruz is by far the sleaziest (R) running.

^This. I voted for Rand in the primary even though he was already out. Cruz and Carson got some of my delegate votes, but Rand didn't have the full slate of delegates for Tennessee so you couldn't just vote for his delegates. (Well...I guess you could but you would have left over votes). In the general I could possibly vote for Cruz to stop Hillary. Tough call. I cannot vote for Trump. Sleazy? Trump comparing Ben Carson to a child molester and pretending to be a psychologist and claiming that childhood anger is "pathologic" and "cannot be cured" is the sleaziest and most dishonest thing I've ever seen done in a presidential race and it's unforgivable. I'm seriously surprised nobody from the APA called him out on it. More evidence that the media is really in Trump's back pocket.

Keep on topic and be civil. This thread is about Ted Cruz. If you want to advocate for a candidate do so in their campaign evaluation thread. Thanks.
