hahaha, My friend used to work with the guy that wrote that song.

The guy said he used to see this red head walking down the street in the quarter every day, wrote the song, THEN got the balls to talk to her, and it turns out she was from somewhere like Pittsburgh.

No, Dad's smart and had little lady do her homework...
Nice job, dad. That's how responsible Americans do it!!

LOL, Pittsburgh. Isn't that where quarterbacks come from??? I'm originally from NO, and will never forget that song.

Just thought it was appropriate...

Dad's cheap. She is on scholarship and works...

That's the way to do it. I didn't take high school seriously, and so I never got TOPPS.

So I usually end up working Air Conditioning one semester, then go back to school and bus tables on the side the next semester.

Yep. You're right! She got TOPS, a small academic scholarship and she is on the basketball dance team (which also has a small scholarship). She works to eat, basically!

Dude, my brother got TOPPS, and then joined the MARINES!!
I was like, WTF???

But he's a kick-ass jarhead from Salmen High School. Won the football championship a few years back.

I graduated from LSU this past December and got all the federal money as a scholarship...Not bad as a foreign student..

Politics is Louisiana's favorite sport and like everything else we try to enjoy ourselves while we do it.

I kinda cracked up a little in another thread where someone said "I'd be suprised to get somthing in this bible state!". That ain't what it's like in south Louisiana!

Think:
Mardi Gras
Jazzfest
Drive thru Daiquiri shops (yes, that's right)
Liquor/Beer/Wine available at convenience stores, grocery stores, etc.
ahh.. too much to list.
