It's different when one actually goes out and does something.

I remember last campaign, I was a precinct captain and walked my district, knocked on doors, made tons of phone calls, heck I sent out letters at my expense.

Mississippi was a hard sell and I essentially got zero results for my efforts.

This time we have caucuses today and I've been in touch with a dozen people or so who plan to attend meetings in just a few hours.

Don't know what will happen but it feels good to be doing something and doing something with like-minded folks.
