Tell her you'll donate to the GOP if she donates to Ron Paul an equal amount (and provides confirmation number). Maybe that would work? :p

I received the same call about a week ago and said I would donate to the general GOP fund if Ron Paul won the nomination. I also added that while I would vote for Romney, I'd likely vote a democrat over McCain.

So you'd vote for evil?

lmao! Brilliant.

Good to hear stories of people sticking up for what they believe in. Thank you.

One has to wonder if they realize that all the money in the world will not help them win against an anti-war Democrat when the majority of America is pissed off about the war, and the media (and partly the GOP party itself) repeatedly push pro-war candidates.

What anti-war democrats are left? Kucinich dropped and Gravel has absolutely no visibility.

Again, a vote for Romney or mccain only perpetuates the same behavior from the GOP if you want them to change you can't vote for the establishment candidates no matter if the dems win.

EXACTLY!

Stand your principled ground! I will NOT EVER again vote for the lessor of two evils!

I got an e-mail about donating to the GOP last week to help stop Obama/Hillary, and I e-mailed the chairman and told him that I donated my money to RP, and that they are slitting their own wrists by being traitors to their base.

I forgot the best part, when I told her that I would only donate to the GOP when Ron got the nomination, she said she had heard a lot of that lately.

Asking for a donation.

I told them to call me back when Ron Paul was the nominee... they proceeded to tell me that I should donate to make sure that Hillary or Obama don't get in; I responded with, I'd rather see one of them than McCain or Romney as at least I know what I'm getting (that floored her!!!! GOOD!).

I invited her to call me back when Ron gets the nomination and I'll donate at that time.

I got call. Said I was a staunch RP supporter toldv them

1 RNC did not support RP
2 Other candidates ridiculed him
3 MSM ignored

That ended the call. Would guess they are getting many responses like this!

I emailed the GOP chaimand and informed him that should McCain get the nomination, I would not support the GOP in the General ELection. I doubt it had much effect, but enough people do this, a message will be heard

I have done this MANY times----They know what the score is. Every-one do this. Just google Republican National Headquarters.

I'm 23 years old and my entire life I've always knew about a Clinton or Bush. I would never support anyone remotely close to them.

Where were you guys when I put up the petition to the GOP saying that if they continued to promote the marginalization of Ron Paul we (the undersigned) would ensure a GOP defeat in November. All I got was flack for it and not there are several threads about punishing the GOP????

Its not that we aren't going to do something like that, its that it isn't' time to do it yet. They will use it as ammunition to ally people against us if we don't seem loyal to the party at the moment. If it gets to a point where we have nothing to lose, then we will use this to remind them that they still have something to lose, which puts us at an advantage.
