I was raised catholic but have never believed in Catholicism. I consider myself to be Agnostic theist.

Paul made a small passing, but inclusive remark about non-believers, I think in a NH speech. (if you remember please tell me exactly when). Obama also (famously) included non-believers in his inauguration speech.

Looking at these poll results, although non-scientific, should make some of these politicians take notice. Among the young, there are more Atheist, Agnostic and don't cares than there are evangelicals.

It's time we non-believers start getting pandered at.

I'm actually a pastafarian, but the OP, showing total ignorance of the fastest growing religion in America, ignored us.

I don't believe there is god but human enough to know that I MIGHT be wrong. I grew up in the church as in HARDCORD lol and through the years and research have learned or "feel" that the whole christianity deal was NOT for me. I just can't get passed the thing that the same folks who thought the world was flat and burned witches were the same that gave us our bible. I don't see a book going through the years without being tweaked based on the CURRENT political or assumed religious leaders.

I am not an athiest though but I believe it is gnostic? Believe personally there is no god but human enough to know I could be wrong???? I like many of the teachings in christianity as well as many other religions but I don't believe in them or feel they have any place in politics or "nationalized" in any country.

Atheist.

And yes, Freedom brings everyone together. Statism and collectivism destroy such coalitions.

agnostic..but there has to be a "god"

but everyone on this blue earth can praise however they wish fine by me

oh and time doesn't exist

Please be nice. We welcome all types here.

I forgot Agnostic, so lets just say Agnostic and Atheist are the same.

Turns out I forgot quite a few. Oh well. I wanted to see if Paul's message hit with all types in relation to religion.

Agnostic and atheist are not even close to being the same.

What would the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster count as?

We are Christians (just like the Mormons are), so I guess "Protestant" because we, like the Protestants, have broken with the Catholic Church?

Hmm I'm actually surprised those of us not plagued with delusions of invisible friends win but it's still a pretty sad picture of how many people on here still believe in fairy tales.

I was raised Catholic(which is what I selected in poll) but there are a few things I don't agree with in the Catholic church. I pretty much consider myself a nondenominational Christian now(no option to vote for :\).

Does anybody know if there are observable tendencies in Hindu political leanings?

LOL.no.i am a hindu, but my heroes are jewish.(mises, hayek et al). it is likelier that Hindus are peace loving.even pacifist(Hindus gave the world Gandhi after all).
it is more about following your dharma (closer to 'righteous duty/path' rather than religion).hindus accept all faiths that lead to god as true.it doesnt claim monopoly on the truth or have a single prophet who is the ultimate authority.
but hindus are of all types:from the nationalist neocon equivalent to the marxist ones.modern hindus are as varied as any country
