guest host was Stuart Varney

the judge was on regarding the affirmative action case taken up by the SC

and Varney mentioned that Ron had said at a rally that he was a possible VP choice

the judge said he couldn't afford it, and laughed.

but when Varney asked for a Sherman like statement the judge refused, saying its too early.

and you could tell by body language he would likely take it if offered.

I would be perfectly content with a Paul/Napolitano ticket. He is one of a small handful I would trust to carry the torch of Liberty. Not to mention he is well spoken and has that "no bullshit" characteristic people look for in leaders, just as Paul does

Anarchy in the white house! This would certainly be something to see. The GOP will NEVER this to happen, so most likely they will have to put together an indy ticket. The Judge would pull in some of the Glenn Beck neocon crowd too so hold on to your hats!

The Judge is the perfect choice for VP. He is a great speaker, cuts through to the meat of an issue better than RP even. He has name recognition and a built in support base from Freedom Watch. It would be a great pairing with RP being the Godfather of the modern Liberty movement and the Judge slicing through and laying it out for the Average Joe.

There may be others that are as 'qualified', but no one else has the total package Judge Nap brings to the table. If something is to come of this, look for the Judge stumping for Ron very soon.

As much as I would like to see a Paul/Judge Nap ticket, we need to calm down until things get a little more official.

There's nothing wrong with expressing our thoughts on this prospect. I bet if you started a thread asking if folks would support a Paul/Napolitano ticket, the response would be a near unanimous YES.

Nothing could be 'official', at this point, but we could expect to see more of the Judge speaking on Ron's behalf soon if things are even being tossed around. I can't think of a single thing that could be as much of a game-changer as the Judge stumping for RP with the possibility of his being on the ticket floating around.

I love the Judge.

Paul/Judge 12 would be effin PERFECT!

Could you imagine three debates with Obama and then one with Biden? OH MAN!!!!!!

Right. By no means am I *against* this ticket. My concern is that the grassroots really starts to spread around Paul/Napolitano material before Paul makes an official announcement.

Well, we can't put the cart before the horse, but nothing wrong with letting it be known that the grass roots could really get behind this sort of thing. RP needs to know and so does the Judge....but something tells me they both already know this. :D

I'd rather have Judge Nap on the Supreme Court for life. VP is not good enough for the Judge.

beggars can't be choosers. More than likely he wont be either.

secondly, he had earlier ruled it out (in '07) so it's nice to see him not ruling it out. I'm not sure he would be the best pick (politically) because of some past statements.

I agree to an extent, but can't come up with a better choice for VP. We just need to make sure Amash becomes speaker - so when Judge gets promoted, Amash is VP =P

What you say is true in the strictest sense, but can you name a better VP choice? Name a better spokesman for Liberty? Name any one person that could do more to help RP be elected?

The Judge couldn't very well help RP's campaign and then be appointed to the SCOTUS, but he could be VP. Ron will need another champion for Liberty to work closely with to implement his policies and the Judge fits that bill to a "T".

Such a ticket would be a dream. Especially if they effed the system and went Indy.
