Judge Boasberg Allows Tren de Aragua Migrants to Appeal ‘Alien Enemies’ Deportations

I agree with this but from what I've heard they were not just deported back to their home country, they were sent to a prison in el salvadore.

So instead of merely kicking the guy out of the taylor swift concert, you send them to sing sing prison for life. I just don't know if my facts are correct about them being sent to el salvadore.

The more I think about it the more I think the root cause of this problem is birthright citizenship. If we end that most of the problems will disappear.

And that the border should be air tight.

Meaning, everyone here would have entered "legally".

Speaking of which, the 10 to 15 million who came in under Biden, technically, entered "legally".

Many of them walked up to the border, were processed, given some kind of legal status (TPS etc) and released.

The initial guy getting the most publicity, wasn't charged with any crimes prior to the deportation process.

Everything else you said sounds like a mindless establishment mantra: WMDs/fighting for your freedoms.

"Khalil failed to state on his green card application he had previously worked for the Syria office of the British Embassy in Beirut and was a member of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, or UNRWA, the government says, the latter a focus of intense criticism from American and Israeli politicians who accuse it of antisemitism."
He wasn't charged because they don't want to go through a court case for years and then keep him here in our prisons and then maybe a future administration allows him to stay.
He's being let off for his crimes to facilitate his deportation because deportation doesn't require Due process because it is not depriving him of life, liberty, or property where charging him with his crimes would.
And he's also a foreign agent working for the UK and working with China.

I posted an article that covers his crimes and foreign connections, but you don't care because you only care about "Hate Israel First" and that means you will side with criminals, terrorists, and enemies of America as long as they share your hatred.

Collaborating with traitors who violate the law to allow you in doesn't make you enter legally.

You are the damndest jackass when it comes to broad statements of "fact" that you can't possibly know without reading minds.

Putting your words in the mouths of others is still a forum violation.

Stating my opinion based on his record is not putting words in anyone's mouth.
I don't need to read his mind, I can read his posts and what he ignores or lies about.

Everyone on the planet can clearly see that you did put your words in unknown's mouth.

And it's still a forum violation.

You're scared to death to debate unknown honestly. That's why you create this straw man instead.

LOL

No, if you think that's what the quotes mean I don't know what to say, I am obviously not saying that is a quote of him, I am defining a guiding principle that so many people around here live by and labeling it a slogan.

It is not a forum violation for me to discuss my opinion of his motivations for his dishonesty.

Judge Boasberg Allows Tren de Aragua Migrants to Appeal ‘Alien Enemies’ Deportations

James Boasberg, incoming chief judge of the US District Court, in Washington, DC, US, on M

Tren de Aragua migrants must be allowed to appeal their deportations ordered under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, Judge James Boasberg ruled Monday.

The ruling is likely to be appealed — in part, because President Donald Trump’s deputies say the judiciary has no role when the President invokes the 1798 act to deport aliens amid an invasion or a “predatory incursion” of the United States.

“This is unconstitutional,” responded Stephen Miller, the President’s deputy chief of staff.

The judge’s decision did not challenge the 1798 law itself but argued that migrants can claim they are not covered by the president’s application of the Alien Enemies Act to Venezuelan members of the Tren de Aragua criminal gang:
THIS is the "Due Process" that is being demanded for the invaders and why it is being pretended that they don't get the Due Process of making sure they are not citizens.
This is the context in which the entire debate is taking place, and anything else is nonsense made up because the "Due Process" side can't justify supporting this but still want to do so by pretending there is something else that is being advocated for and that is missing in Trump's approach.

The moment Trump concedes "Due Process" every single one of the tens of millions of invaders will get years or even decades of court hearings and the courts will simply not be able to handle all of them so most will just be released.

Stop fearmongering and address existential reality. What due process were they getting all along?

Nobody asked for that. What is the due process they were getting all along?
Nobody asked for it?
The Judge mandated it, the left is demanding it, and it's the context in which anyone is jumping on the bandwagon to demand "Due Process".
Rand knows what is being demanded by him and everyone else, so you can just quit pulling our leg:

SEN. PAUL: There are some big legal questions here. On the one hand, the Bill of Rights applies to everyone, to persons. The Bill of Rights doesn’t specifically designate citizens. It’s really anyone in the United States the Bill of Rights applies to. On the other hand, the Alien and Enemies Act simply says, you really don’t get much process. The president can simply declare that you are somehow a problem for foreign policy and opposed to our foreign policy, and you can be deported. So really, ultimately, this goes to the court, and then the court is going to have to decide, are they going to declare unconstitutional a law that’s been around for a couple hundred years, or are they going to defer to Congress?

SEN. PAUL: So no, I- well, I think you’re answering for me. I think there is going to be some process afforded by the courts for representation before you’re deported in most cases.

They get the due process of being identified, which is all they should get, and that's only for if some citizen accidentally gets grabbed in a raid, invaders don't deserve even that for themselves.
How do you think the left found stories of a handful of citizens who were grabbed in a mass raid? they were identified as citizens by the process and released.

Stop fearmongering and address existential reality. What due process were they getting all along?
I love it, I'm the fear monger for pointing to actual events, but the "Due Process" side isn't when they point to nonexistent violations of the Due Process rights of citizens.

LOL

Yes. That was not the question. Nobody here thinks Boasberg is in his right mind. The conversation has moved beyond that.
Bunk.

Making up fantasies and pretending there is a debate about anything else than what Rand himself is demanding is just weaseling to keep attacking Trump over supposed Due Process deficiency that you can't even identify in order to continue lending aid to the movement for court hearings for every single one of the tens of millions.

But you clearly can't move beyond that.

No, there's nothing unreasonable about enough due process to ensure we don't deport any of our own citizens. There simply isn't.

Exactly right and that is obviously the Marxist's game plan here. They know Congress does not have the stones to pass the required legislation, they know they can shut down the executive with these measures, they know that nobody gave a flip about Due Process when millions of bioweapons were dropped into communities all across the country.

Venezuela refuses to take back their own citizens because they know these people are violent gang members and they were released by Venezuela in the first place to infiltrate our country. What do you do then? Do nothing?
Clearly if you read my post I didn't say do nothing.

That's borderline an act of war by Venezuela if true. How about we announce that we're dropping them off the coast of Isla Margarita in a military ship. Or another idea would be to drop them off exactly where they came in on the mexican border. There's a million way to deport them without sending them to prison.
