Hello fellow liberty lovers. I am a long time forum member here and professional lurker. We have deleted my former account and are going with this one so people know what is up!
I decided that the best way I could further our movement and fight for freedom and liberty was to put my name on the ballot. So I did. I am seeking the Republican nomination for State Rep. district 92 in the great state of Texas.
I am running against a 16 year incumbent who I would describe as a moderate at best. We will slowly release more details of our issues with him as the campaign goes on. His name is Todd Smith and he is a trial lawyer.
He has run basically unopposed every year except for 2010. He had a challenger named Jeff Cason who made huge inroads exposing Todd for his lack of conservative votes. Cason lost 41% to 59%.
It now appears myself and Todd will go head to head when we vote on March 6th. We are excited about our chances and see a clear path to victory.
I will use this thread to update you all on the goings on of the campaign. The initial website is up. Full version to be released the 25th of November.
