Jon Stewart to cover Ames/Paul media blackout on Daily Show - Tonight

Just think, this brilliant piece of television would have never come about if things had turned out differently.

If Ron Paul came in first, the media would've talked about Ames even less. Would've called the people of Iowa crazy, and say that the Ames Straw Poll was worthless.
And would've changed the subject to Rick Perry as fast as they could.

Then Jon Stewart would've really had something to say.

Could this Jon Stewart section be an ad? Could Revolution PAC talk to Jon Stewart and say "hey, how about we give you money, and you can run a "Comedy Central - Jon Stewart ad with this footage" Don't we want people who watch Comedy Central to see that footage over and over. Revolution PAC should make that happen.

I just saw Jon Stewart sticking up for Ron Paul. It had to have been the show you guys were talking about.

Jon Stewart is the kind of friend everyone needs when they are not there to stand up for themselves.

I also noticed a Fark thread earlier on the show, I think. I couldn't watch it at work because of no sound.

Watching that makes me think we live in a banana republic. He must be dangerous to the cartels.

This could well be the best thing that's ever happened to RP politically speaking, and maybe one of the top moments for libertarianism? Let's milk this for all it's worth!

Heh, there was just another Ron Paul mention. They were talking about how the media is now obsessed with Paul Ryan. Jon was pretending to be a parent scolding a child for wanting a new toy and said: "Now you want a Paul Ryan?! I just got you a Rick Perry! And you just broke your Michelle Bachmann! Oh, and before I get you ANYTHING else, where the fuck is your Ron Paul?!"

"Voting for Paul requires a belief that the world is on the verge of the greatest economic destruction of all time and that we still have time and ability to "fix" the situation.

I really think there is a greater than 10% chance that Paul is right. That, however, is not enough of a chance for me to support him." - Fark comment.

Interesting. So we have to convince people the world is on the verge of the greatest economic destruction of all time and that it's still not too late.

RP needs to explain what the first year of his Presidency will be like, and what the second year will be like in terms of the true recovery beginning.

It would be nice if Jon Stewart would plug the August 20th money bomb while touting his foreign policy/anti war credentials, now that would be huge!
