You may as well go to bed. I don't think Youtube allows anything from Comedy Central. It will probably be on The Daily Show site tomorrow.
Edit: n/m here it is: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/jon-stewart-scolds-media-for-ignoring-rep-ron-paul-i-mean-fck-that-guy-right/
It's just dawning on me. This may very well be the Giuliani moment we were looking for. The media just did us a HUGE favor with their blackout.![]()
I think that reasonable Democrats, even if they don't want to vote for a Republican in general, respect a change from the hypocrisy of the establishment. Think about it: Deficit spending and entitlements are bad, welfare is bad, foreign welfare is great, foreign wars are great, limited government is good, government should define marriage, gays are the loch ness monster, go bailouts!Of course he doesn't agree with him on every issue, or even on many issues that most Paul supporters consider to be of the utmost importance (low taxes, less regulation, smaller welfare state, etc), but one positive thing that must be said of him and his staff is that they are vehemently anti-war and pro civil liberties, and their support of RP tonight reflects this. Although they might prefer Obama to Paul (though even that is questionable and arguably changeable if approached in the right way), they certainly prefer Paul to every other Republican running. And this is certainly a good thing.
