Join me in Praying for Ron Paul!

Started praying for Ron Paul months ago. In order to return our country to what it once was, God is going to need to help him. I believe our prayers are being answered. I've seen what I can only describe as miracle after miracle.

I'm an agnostic- I can't decide if the Flying Spaghetti Monster really exists or not, so I'll pass on the prayer. :)

However, I will donate to the new "Compassion" ad instead.

He'd be too old for a second term. He'd be in his 80s then.

That might be the case, but if the country is improving and things are looking up, I think the people would beg Paul to go another four years or insist that his son take over for the next 8.

not so. There is no age limit on the Presidency.
look at the Pope, he's 8 years older than Ron Paul, and still works hard every day
and travels. Or you could consider Murray Rothstein aka Sumner Redstone, who's
12 years older than Ron and still runs Viacom.

I will join you :) Whatever your religion, sending love, compassion and hope out into the universe for someone else can never be bad.

I have been every day for the past few weeks. I even went to church on Christmas. I've never been very religious, but I'm scared for our country, actually for the whole world.

I pray that we get more "callers from home" to NH, NV and get voters!
I'm working as hard as I can on it and pray for help.

I'll be joining--well have been for the last couple of days. He needs all the prayers he can get. Our country is in dire straights and now with Obama needing his war to continue in office (Iran), it is even more important to get Paul elected to office. I pray that Paul wins Iowa and then the nominations and the presidency of these united states of america.

Let us pray for the intercession of St. Thomas More,

"the King's good servant, but God's first." -- St Thomas More

Just in time to help with the November 7th elections, politicians will pick up some spiritual support next week.

In a bulletin released on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Vatican, officials of the Holy See announced that Pope John Paul would name St Thomas More the "patron of statesmen and politicians" on October 31.

More is considered to be one of the foremost statesmen in English history. When he refused to recognize King Henry VIII's claim to supremacy over religion in 1535, the King ended debate on the matter by having More imprisoned. During his imprisonment, More is said to have declared himself, "the King's good servant, but God's first." So impressed was Henry VIII. that he had More beheaded.*

Named a saint of the Catholic Church in 1935, More is more widely recognized as "A Man for All Seasons," and author of the classic "Utopia" written in 1516.

Speaking at an Oct, 26 press conference, Britain's Lord Alton lauded St More as the perfect choice to be the patron of people who must often make compromises in order to survive politically.*

"There should be no dichotomy, no double personality, no breaking of the link between the public and private,'' Lord Alton reminded politicians.

Alton continued, "In our own times, political life is so often about personal aggrandizement and advantage. Its participants pursue careers rather than causes."

Urging modern politicians to represent the public from a desire to serve the common good, Lord Alton suggested that were St Thomas More alive today, he would be apposed to laws that encourage abortion.

"Today," concluded Lord Alton, "you take your cue from the electronic pager, tailor your remarks to the demands of party managers, and never mind conscience, just think about preferment and the patronage which awaits you."

Or you may be too young to make that decision.
Integrety has a soul but no age.

There is more and more talk these days with all these anti-aging enhancements, smart diets of a biological age rather than chronological age. Some people at 70 chronologically maybe 50 years of age or less biologically. Age will be less and less of an issue in the coming years with future medical enhancements and smart diet.

I`d say Ron Paul`s biological age is somewhere around 55. Actually he`s in better shape than many people at 55. ;)
