For those ambiguous about prayer: you go into a jewelry store and there are some nice things "under glass", and you'd like one. Although the shop owner would love to sell you one (it's his will, so to speak), you have to ask. The interesting thing about Christianity is that the jewlery is all paid for...but you have to ask. It develops an ability to communicate with the Creator. Prayer also creates unity amongst those praying, which is a goal in itself. I know this is an imperfect analogy, but it might provide an different angle from which to view prayer.

Lord, give resolve to those working in Maine, to continue; and give them wisdom to choose the best words and strategies to accomplish their goal. Also, put it in the hearts of those wishing to support Ron Paul in Maine, the desire and wherewithall to get out to caucus. Thank you, Father.
