John Tate Email: Threatens chaos at the convention

Unless they cheat in credentials, which they currently must be planning to do if they don't think Ron has plurality, Ron has not just plurality but MAJORITY in AT LEAST 6 states: IA, LA, ME, MN, NV and OR, and with coalition (if it holds) in CO as well. They may also be confused into thinking being bound on the ballot vote has something to do with the nomnation for contention at RNC, which is an entirely separate process.

Does anyone know what our remedy is if they cheat in credentials? Do we have any other legal options then?

Only a lawsuit, I believe.

And, obviously, inform Romney's fall campaign by showing his campaign was paying people who were circulating fake slates etc, and showing how absolutely outrageous under the facts it would be to exclude Ron's delegates to the point where no unbiased person could reasonably reach that credentials decision. I sure don't want someone willing to win at all costs to be President. I mean, we're just talking about letting procedure go forward naturally, not who would get the ultimate GOP nomination.

I think they are miscalculating which of letting Ron be nominated onto the floor fairly, and Romney then winning a subsequent vote, or having all the facts of the credentials battles circulating the internet until November would be worse for Romney.

Who is they and why can't both be done?

And really we won OK, too. They always get forgotten. I know they probably won't be seated, but I hope all the OK people go to Tampa anyway and make their case. In my opinion, we won it at the state convention, fair and square. And then didn't we also do well in Virginia and Arizona? Alaska? Washington?

Multiple email is still email.....it is not emails...

when you pick up multiple mail pieces from your mailbox do you call it mails?

way off topic, but this is only half right. it's perfectly fine to say something like 'I got five emails from John yesterday'. However, you can also say 'I got email from five different people yesterday'. Both are plural, but one uses the 's'. Traditional mail avoids this issue because you'd switch to a different word - 'I got five letters from John yesterday', but email takes the place of both 'mail' and 'letter'.

Are you sure? I've spoken to 2 people from Oklahoma that I know that were there and they didn't agree.

This is why it is important to BE THERE. If we let them push us around, whether legally or otherwise, nothing will change. But if we show up there, make our presence felt and seen, it will have an impact on the culture of the GOP. This is not the time to be passive. This is not the time to be patient. This is the time to take over.

We had a majority at the state convention. We held a rump convention after the rules were blatantly broken. http://www.policymic.com/articles/8...wins-fly-in-the-face-of-the-gop-establishment Everything was done legally, to a T. Oklahoma is ours. Ron Paul won Oklahoma.

Now will they cheat and steal it, likely yes, just like they're stealing Maine and Louisiana. But I wish someone were talking about OK and that our lawyers were challenging it. Those Okies went to a lot of work, and stayed for hours on end. We bought them pizza. It was a great triumph. The victory shouldn't go down the memory hole.

as a clarification of terminology rump convention is something else, what they had was a continuation of the actual convention after improper aborted pretence of shutting it down without majority vote to adjourn, as I understand it.

I believe the OK people chipped in for attorneys, but if the campaign isn't pushing it at RNC, I dunno. But you are right that our people were wonderful.
