John Dennis: Grassroots Ron Paul Supporter Wins CA Primary, will take on PELOSI!

Does anyone know how I can contact the campaign. You can email the campaign from his website but you can only enter 300 words and I have a good idea that requires more words than that to explain that I would like to send to him.

Keep knocking them down a notch. Even just a few percent will help in the future when they are vulnerable or retire. You'll have your name out there already. It's a long term proposition, which would take years to educate the populace. I still think its worth doing. It would be even more worth it if we had Blue Republican candidates step up in these areas and run for every damn office available.

Except if you run every single time and are crushed by large margins, you become a "perennial candidate" with maybe 8% of the vote and no real chances of getting more, effectively a political fixture.

could john dennis go gop primary in nancy pelosi's district in 2014 also but spend much of 2016 in a potus run?

I live near San Francisco, and I right now encourage everyone here who are close to attend an Occupy SF meeting and propose an endorsement of John Dennis at the meeting, the meetings are consensus type of meetings.

If we can get Occupy on our side, Nancy Pelosi will have to debate John Dennis sooner or later!!!!

In California, particularly San Francisco, that is a campaign, right there.
Proggies are as yellow as it gets. Theyll vote for a war mongerer who has butchered thousands before ever supporting that dirty R word.

Honestly, I don't know a single person who votes based on marijuana.
It is UH MAY ZING how many people simply do not understand the praxeology and mechanics of elections and politics. And Im not accusing you at all. Marijuana has a lot of agreement, but it is a low priority (isnt that what legalizers want? :p), so it doesnt factor much at all. Im sure political scientists could put together a fully correct model that would take each variable (issue) and give it a priority coefficient and it would reliably predict who someone votes for. Of course personality and charisma would be factors, strong factors, that may override reality, but I still think it would work. This isnt necessary tho. A candidate just needs to know how to massage the variables and exploit them.

Going forward, that means running Ron Paul Republicans in Republican districts, and Ron Paul Democrats in Democratic districts, preferably in a primary when there is an open seat.
Fuck that Im running R in a D district. Its not heavy D but theres no way to primary a machine Dem (well maybe there is actually) and thats no fun.

Deja Vu all over again.

Last time he ran, there were a bunch of folks here saying we needed to contribute because he was "gaining" on her and "had a chance to win."

I came out and said, multiple times, that it would be a miracle of Biblical proportions of John Dennis got 20%. Of course, I caught all kinds of Hell for saying that.

He ended up getting 15%.

I like the guy, but he's running in possibly the most hard core lefty district in the entire country.

He had NO CHANCE, none, nada, zip, zero of winning, folks. About all he can hope to do is make a little noise. Basically, he's running an educational campaign.

I'm running for Congress as a Libertarian in Texas, and I will come closer to winning than John Dennis will (and I haven't got a chance in Hell of winning).

He's going to lose by ~60 percentage points- and that's only if he gets most of the Libertarian votes (possible) and Green votes (not bloody likely).

So if you have a limitless supply of money, go ahead and send him some. But if you are not super wealthy, and need to spend your political dollars wisely, there will be better places to spend them.

The Tea party has already showed you can successfully primary incumbents in many cases. Call that route a three-point shot. It's better to wait for the 'machine' incumbent (Democrat or Republican) to retire, then go for their seat in the primary. Call that a good look, short jump shot, because you won't be facing the incumbent's machine. Once you are the GOP primary winner in a GOP district, or Democratic primary winner in the Democratic district, then the machine is at your disposal. As in lay up/slam dunk at election time. So it's more fun to win, as a result of taking this higher percentage approach.

could john dennis do a potus run after trying to win against nancy pelosi three or five times?

Guys? We need Occupy SF in order to gain strength. We need unity with all and any organizations to go forward.

bump, we need to make allies with Occupy, Gay Pride, SF Green Party, and re-ask Matt Gonzalez assistance! Hey, James Fang the BART Board of Director is the only elected Republican in SF and the only way he could do that is his alliance with the CAPA or the Chinese American Political Action PAC and John Dennis could be the second one if we get allies. Lets make it happen!!!!

at least there is a gameplan! john dennis is an excellent candidate and this is worth the effort!
