John Dennis: Grassroots Ron Paul Supporter Wins CA Primary, will take on PELOSI!

JD is great! The problem is of course his district. Is it really worth investing time and money in a race with 1/10000000000000 of a chance of winning?
That still means he has a shot at winning. He doesn't. People in this liberty movement should be cold, hard, realists.

Amazing how small the district is, in square feet:

Of course it is filled with skyscrapers :(

Ron didn't have a safe district. This is the SECOND time he was redistricted. He always won with a bigger margin, because he is him.

I still think NDAA gives Dennis a pretty good wedge, but we will see.
Doubtful. He would need 10 million dollars just to get people to acknowledge his existence. For every percentage point above 15% it would cost one million dollars.

pelosis district is hers until she dies.

I did observe that the primary vote for Ron Paul was extremely high in San Francisco County. The only county that I saw that was higher was Santa Cruz. Ironically, both very liberal.

An educational campaign is still worth doing IMO. Expose her horrible record.

What is the point of exposing the horrible record of someone you can't defeat? Why not instead expose the horrible record of somebody that is beatable? It makes absolutely no sense.

this is not an "if" question, this is a WHEN question...
he may be able over four elections to come closer
into unseating her. few other people will put the time
or energy into knowing the voters of the district. if
he builds up a degree of trust, he might win it eventually.

i'll say it again.
if elections count, this is the 2nd most important election in the country. <that's a period

a very concerted campaign in SF county to register 5000 democrats for ron paul out of the 500k+ could have won it.

that email really put a damper on that. I was getting decent traction talking people into switching parties in CA but when that came out and the media said he had suspended his campaign people who really didn't want to vote GOP just said it wasn't going to do any good any more. It was exceedingly frustrating. I ended just up putting out flyers -- just to show he was still running, the last week.

It's a shame he isn't running in the 3rd district, he would probably win, and our options here are terrible

Dennis has no chance at winning. He could be running against Pol Pot and still lose because of the R after his name. I like Dennis a lot but he would be better off running as a democrat or in another district or another office. There are actual races out there that are winnable that we should be focusing our money on.

i win for this guy would be huge for liberty candidates everywhere especially us unelectable ones...... prove these psycho liberals can be kicked out with a REAL liberty candidate

Dennis smells funny to me.

He was involved behind the scenes of rp2012.org, and raised a bunch of money for a PAC that turned into a PAC for his political campaign. The sneakiness and deceit is not appreciated. I'd vote for an honest socialist over a slimy libertarian.

There's not 1 ounce of honesty or integrity within a 10 mile radius of Pelosi. She is anti-political matter.

Keep knocking them down a notch. Even just a few percent will help in the future when they are vulnerable or retire. You'll have your name out there already. It's a long term proposition, which would take years to educate the populace. I still think its worth doing. It would be even more worth it if we had Blue Republican candidates step up in these areas and run for every damn office available.

I don't think that was an accident. It's exactly what the Paul campaign wanted to do imho. Throw a bucket of cold water on things.

Yup, I agree. We should be more prudent.
