He's already said that he's not going to veto it. One article there said that it would double the salary but I heard on Monday that it would triple the pay.

Which is it? Not that it matters that much. No one is making a law to get my pay doubled.

Actually, we used to call him "puppetboy" when I worked for the state, he was head of Health and Hospitals. We went from ranking 47the in the nation in health care to 50th under Jindal. It was his very first job! Who appoints a freshly graduated 23 year old head of such an important agency? I'll tell ya'... aperson who is looking for an easily manipulated person.... and Mike Foster did just that!

I really, really dislike Jindal. I may disagree with a politician's beliefs and policies, but I don't automiatically assume he's malevolent, or crooked.

Jindal is both.

He never answers questions that are asked of him, he tals so fast that no one can understand what he said, and he can't make any kind of eye contact. Then there's his puppetboy past. I was hoping he would have wised up as he aged.
