Jimmy Kimmel show suspended after Charlie Kirk comments

It applies to both sides, doesn't it? Both sides have invoked it, and both sides have betrayed it.
Honestly? At this point I don't even consider democrats part of the conversation. Hearing them cry about censorship after the 4 years of nonsense we endured under Biden kind of gets me feeling like, "okay kiddos, go play in the yard. the adults are talking."

The only meaningful debate over the direction this country is heading, is happening within the republican party (which is challenging enough without some retarded liberal screaming in the background). I've said that before, and I still believe that to be the case.

The left is just making noise at this point. They have burned their credibility so much that even *IF* they were to join together with the (real) conservatives over issues that they should (i.e. the 'no criticism of Israel' censorship nonsense), it actually HURTS our arguments.

They're literally upset about Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel losing their 'freedom of speech.' Think about that. They honestly believe that two talking-heads who get paid to read scripts from the deep state, being silenced, is somehow the worst possible affront to liberty imaginable.

If I were waiting on the left to catch up, I'd have to start running backwards.

How has the first amendment been violated in this incident?
So....in 2029 when President Pete (don't make me spell his last name) pressures the head of the FCC to pressure all talk radio stations to stop carrying (fill-in-the-blank-conservative) for saying something that Pete considers inaccurate, you won't have a problem with that?

Hillary had enough power to put Ricky Vaughn in jail for memes.

I 2023 she had no operational control over the DOJ. So this falls on Biden. Biden's DOJ could secretly be acting on Clinton's behalf or the could just be GPAs (general purpose asses). After all, their prosecution of the "Uhuru 3" for going to the U.N. to complain about police brutality is as bad or worse of a first amendment violation. But all that's besides the point. Hillary can advocate all day for any type of frivolous prosecution she wants. She's only violating the first amendment if someone can show she actually directed government action in a particular instance.

Yeah, it was a lot better back then. They even had Milton Friedman on. But it's bad now. Either way it's just icky.
Belly of the Beast (forced sterilization of black women prisoners) was released in 2020 which, to me, isn't that long ago.

And this is a great rebuttal to those who say "Women should have 100% freedom of their reproductive rights." Okay. So why did a blue state allow this to happen?

Yeah, absolutely. What we get in our feeds is a joke.

But I remember a time when the push was to make Christianity a joke. Then the only Christians they pointed cameras at were the Westboro Baptist Church. Literally. It worked. Whole generations have grown up since within which a significant portion (that's pronounced "majority") think Christianity is a joke.

The Mentally Ill Left is not The Entire Left. Now I admit that what's left of The Left is malleable and gullible. Whatever there was of the left that wasn't those two things bolted. They're off the reservation.

And they're people I would depend upon long before I'd count on a Republican who is anti-free speech. The Right has malleable and gullible people, too.

I agree on everything you said, except on this point.

To "us" they are making noise. And by "us" I mean any normiesexual who is politically to the right of Josef Stalin.

(And yes @jmdrake I include "normal" black folks in that as well. Your heads are in the guillotines as well as us White people.)

To them, they are working themselves up into, what they perceive to be a justified killing frenzy.

Genocide, gaining momentum.

It's happened so many times in the past, and "they" have made it very clear, that is what they intend to do, kill every last one of us, that I am flabbergasted at folks that refuse to take "them" at their word.

When they say they want you and your family dead, believe them when they say it.

I take them at their word.

You don't understand what I'm saying. What I'm saying to you is, just because the propaganda programmers and influencer bullshit artists flood the net with people that insane doesn't mean they're a significant portion of the population.

Since they shut down the county inpatient psychiatric hospitals, city dwellers see schizophrenics every day. But they aren't a significant portion of the population. They're vastly outnumbered by the vehicles that pass by them debating whether or not to hand a few bucks out the window.

Most of what has been done to us was done by using fearmongering to trigger our paranoia over a real, but exceedingly rare threat. And yes, it does get a few people every day, but in a nation of 330,000,000 bathtubs get a few every day.

I was tired of people scared over one thing costing people jobs in 2020, and I have the same attitude toward people scared over another thing costing people rights forevermore now.

Perspective. The only place on the internet you can get it is right here.

What Everyone's Missing On The Jimmy Kimmel Firing

"Conservatives are celebrating the firing of late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel after ill-chosen remarks about the killing of Charlie Kirk. Those on the Left are crying "cancel culture" on the Right. But there is something important that is being missed regardless of one's views on Kimmel. Also today: Trump's "special envoy" for the Ukraine war goes full John Bolton - will he finally get sacked?"

The difference between fighting fire with fire and not is not doing it wins you converts and doing it loses you allies.

I understand perfectly what you are saying.

Most of it I agree with.

My only real disagreement is with your estimate of how many people out there are part of/supporters of/sympathetic to, well, whatever you want to call it, Maoism (which Lily Williams, congressional candidate here in NH, who lived through Mao's revolution, very accurately describes it as), or Queer Race Communism, or Jacobinism or just run of the mill Marxism, whatever, I think your estimate is very, very low.

The real pys-op, the real conspiracy, was how the communist left, enemies of freedom and the republic, were allowed access to the institutions all across this country and the West in general, and planted their noxious seeds everywhere.

And this happened before we were born.

The bitter harvest coming, of which we are just seeing the start of, is the result of no conspiracy, is no surprise and is the end game of no elaborate machinations.

It is simply cause and effect.

That's how I see it.

But, maybe I'm wrong and I hope you're right.

I'd sort of agree with you if there weren't a way to measure this.

Take a look at the representatives they send to Washington to rule on their behalf.

Those representatives don't get elected over and over again because the average American leftist has good mental health.

This isn't some fringe group of people.

They certainly weren't the mainstream 20 years ago but they have the momentum and they may not be in power now but they could be in the future and they sure as hell aren't going to be pulling their punches on us.

Quitting while you're ahead is a great way to lose your head when you are up against psychopaths.

You can tell its mainstream by the NY mayoral elections.

New York is usually 7 years ahead of the rest of the country when it comes to culture.

So what is happening there right now is going to be coming for the rest of us.

The democrat establishment is trying the strategy that Weimar Germany did to fight off the communist revolution but that ended up to be a real disaster in the end.

The national socialist party was created to oppose the communists to create sort of a watered down socialism to appease the socialists.

This is the strategy that the "Democratic socialists" are doing so its basically straight out of the nazi playbook.

Well, yes. George Soros. There's one of our enemies right there. No doubt about it. And I only think Trump's cleaning any more of them out than is necessary to throw us a bone now and then, when one of them gets attention.

Calling me AI isn't going to stop the communist revolution thats taking place.

Charlie Kirk understood that this was happening and that's why he went to war with the indoctrination centers that were creating the marxists. Charlie Kirk didn't kill himself and it wasn't the jews and it wasn't MAGA. It was the people who he was going after. He was going after them and converting them and thats why he was targeted.

Distraction from the real motivations for his assassination that people like Jimmy Kimmel are doing and you as well by muddling what had happened and acting like he wasn't the target for the same reason the left has been targeting and canceling people like Rand Paul makes you a useful idiot thats helping their ideology grow by giving them legitimacy and sane washing their dirty tricks.
