Tip of the iceberg. Jim was good during a lot of the bailout debates also. This should be replicated across every spending authorization bill up there, not just this one.

Some moron Rep. Hank Johnson is up there railing against the filibuster. I guess he doesn't realize that Bunning wasn't actually ever using the filibuster.

Edit: I've had a couple beers so let me don the tinfoil hat. Could bunning have done this just to give the legislature an excuse to get rid of the filibuster in anticipation of some liberty candidate(s) winning? Note: as I said Bunning never actually used the filibuster but they keep saying he was doing it nonetheless.
