Why are they blockaded again? I wonder. Hmmmm. Some obsessive fixation to destroy the jews instead of advancing their knowledge and skill base, so as to eventually break free from their grip.

Theoretically, you could take the Japanese, airdrop them onto the West Bank and they would be pretty successful, EVEN with the aforementioned hardships. A futile cycle of belligerent behavior and dependency doesn't raise a nation up from the dregs. At the end of the day, the Palestinians as a people have to look hard into the mirror and examine their own faults. Only then will the journey towards emancipation will begin.

Then why didn't the Jews turn the concentration camps into trading hubs? Or the 700 000 Japanese prisoners from Manchuria that were sent to Siberia turn Siberia into a industrial hub for cars and radios ?

Jews were never the uber rich everyone considers them.They were middle class traders who got a little bit richer because they always started going into banking sooner or later.The problem is that the same banking that made them a little bit richer than everyone else also was most of the time the reason why they were attacked.

In countries or regions where they did not get them self's involved in banking there were very rarely attacked.

Look, there is no damn way we're going to switch to the gold reserve. The gold reserve is impossible to sustain because we don't have enough gold in the world in order to support our money supply. Gold will lead to inflation just like the so called fiat currencies. We should just regulate the federal reserve to make sure they don't print more than it's worth in assets, not switch to gold which is going to run out real quickly.
