EDIT :::SORRY::: ITS TOMORROW NIGHT!!!

They had a lead in about him maybe announcing a run for Presidency... Personally, I'd love to see it. He is one of the only people who could run 3rd party and be viable. Military veteran, widely known, possibly backed financially by a billionaire (Vince McMahon), former executive of a state, high favorability ratings upon leaving office, and completely candid about all issues as opposed to the other three 'frontrunners' constant lying and positioning on issues.

As a Libertarian, he is a great addition to continue talking about some of the same things that Ron Paul advocates as well.
Tonight's program and the many others that he will go on in the near future for his book tour are good publicity, and may even generate more support for Ron Paul's Manifesto also.

I'd still have to write in Ron over Jesse....Ron understands the economic issues. What they should do is team up...

I would like to see Ventura run, especially if there's a slim chance he might end up with Ron Paul as VP. In any case, I will not be writing in Ron Paul this November, unless he officially registers himself as a write-in candidate (which I highly doubt he will). Write-in votes are completely useless and aren't counted or reported. Might as well just write in George Washington or Thomas Jefferson if you are doing a write-in, since it would have the same effect.

Most likely scenario without a Ventura run: Bob Barr runs Libertarian and gains Ron Paul's endorsement. This is a compromise for Paul, since it gives us someone to vote for, in his eyes, without having to choose between the two horrid major party candidates or an utterly pointless write-in.

There's an e-mail address to propose questions for Jesse Ventura on Larry King's website. We should e-mail and propose King ask him who he would consider for VP if he announces a Presidential run, and if he might consider Ron Paul.

Look lets face it,The reality is that One of the three stooges looks like will be president so if Ventura runs i would rather vote for him then write in RP even thou i would love a Ventura/Paul ticket "unlikely"

F--k that. Writing in RP, if we fail too get him the nomination.

Willing to sink with the ship. I guess that is admirable but I would be trying to find a lifeboat that is Jesse Ventura.

Why would Ventura pick Paul? Paul showed little ability to get 10% of the vote in the primary and did even worse when it was just Paul v. McCain. I would of thought that most people could see that just because we like Ron Paul and think he would be a great leader, the fact is he isn't a leader he is a legislator. He couldn't run his campaign so I don't see any reason why someone would pick him to be president.

Reminds me of the Dean supporters that thought he was just wonderful, the smartest man to ever walk the snow in New Hampshire the next coming of Christ... We have since learned Dean couldn't run a campaign in a little place like Iowa even with all of the media support and the idiot has now put in place a primary system that is destroying the Democrats, thank the gods. Under Howard Dean John McCain is destroying the 'abundance of talent' in the Dem's primary. Paul like Dean clearly are not leaders.

vice presidents don't have to be great politicians. They have to show what direction the presidency may take. Jesse Ventura is one of the most successful out of the box indie candidates in recent memory.

He has the dichotomy of being a weird pro-wrestler, which is the kind of thing that people vote for, ironically, for a big office, while also being principled, intelligent, and fiercely independent.

I support Ron Paul for president, because he is running for President. If he isn't running anymore, I think there is some importance in evaluating everyone who IS seeking the office, and if you find one you can vote for in good faith... any indie candidate knows he has to grab a movement and ride it to win. The only free movement, loose, disenfranchised, prebuilt is ours. Expect someone to court it in the General Election if Ron Paul does not run.

A strong 3rd party candidacy might be able to coerce him as VP. With John McCain being so hated by conservatives.... a tough guy image like Ventura could appeal to the emotional core that the Republican party used to live on top of.

note once again: he will be on tomorow, tuesday, April 1st at 9 pm
not today, tomorrow
remember to watch ron paul on glenn beck at 7 also

Ok, people... Ron Paul will *NOT* run as third party. Period. It will sacrifice his congressional seat so it ain't happenin. If Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination (again let's wait till the RNC before we say it def. wont happen), then I would definitely support a Libertarian third party.

What I would love to see though would be a Ventura/Barr or Barr/Ventura ticket. With Ron Paul's endorsement.

I mean shit... it's Jesse "The Body" Ventura... he's the fuckin man, hes got serious goddamned charisma, intelligence, he's libertarian - and he's not a bullshitter by what I know.

Im just looking into Ventura for the first time really tonight and wow.

I will definitely support this dude!

he gets it, he definitely fuckin gets it... this revolution is goign to prevail :D

i agree. Jesse Ventura is my ideal candidate(besides our hero)

and i will go gung-ho for him as soon as he gives the go-ahead

we have to get behind him if he runs because he will actually be taken seriously by the news media.

ive come to the conclusion that Barr as an LP nominee or any third party candidate just wont get coverage, but an independent will, think about lou dobbs pluggin this guy everday etc

and sheep will love him, hes a man's man former Navy Seal, Independent Governor with high approval rating, and a man who wont take bullshit.
