Jesse Ventura won't make any official statements until Monday on Larry King Live. I really hope he runs and wins the seat.

I second that! He's the closet thing we'll have in Minnesota and maybe across the country to a liberty candidate for Senator with a real chance of winning. Norm Coleman (the GOP incumbent) is a total Bush crony and deserved to be smashed by Ventura. Smashed by him again...Coleman ran for Governor in 1998 and lost to Ventura in that race. Let's hope history repeats itself.

yeah. apparently at this stage in the gubernatorial race, jesse was only at 7%.. and he ended up winning with 37% in the end. he hasn't even entered this senate race, and polls show him at 23-24%

Yeah - It's on the Larry King page that he announces it tomorrow - would be depressing if he comes on and says, "I decided not to run after all.. sorry...."

Personally I don't think Jesse Ventura will go on Larry King to announce he isn't running. Blomberg didn't go on any shows to announce he isn't running for president.

Personally I don't think Jesse Ventura will go on Larry King to announce he isn't running. Blomberg didn't go on any shows to announce he isn't running for president.


But I could be wrong.

Jesse kind of did this on his first appearance on LKL back in April. I remember CNN billing the show as, "Will He or Won't He", talking about whether he would run for President. I could be wrong, but I believe he declared he wasn't going to run for POTUS, on that LKL show.

His skepticism about 9/11 and how the government may be covering up their involvement in the collapse of the World Trade Center towers slightly pushes me away. I do still support him and agree with nearly all of his points. With that said, I hope he not only runs but wins. I want to see Coleman knocked out of the Senate.
