Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey called for Wash March in June

back on topic though.... are there any other celebrities that have spoken out against vaccinations besides these two? and i feel after reading that article that its very likely since JM is speaking out against the big pharm then i have no doubt there has been many attempts to discredit her and make her seem like a "loonball" sound familiar?
 
JM went to an aura reader for the autism diagnosis. She could not produce proof that she attempted to seek a developmental specialist for the autism diagnosis. She falsly claims that the reason Evan doesn't have autism now is because she healed him. Her ex husband, Evans dad, says Evan is not and never has been autistic.

My dh thought our son was normal for years. Sorry, but sometimes moms are a bit more "intune". I knew WAY before any "official" diagnosis. Not rocket science when your child can barely speak at age 4, 5, 6, etc. has temper tantrums like a toddler, and gets so frustrated over the smallest things that he completely shuts down. The behavior is so atypical that I'm often surprised when parents didn't know. Not everything needs to be diagnosed by or treated by a "specialist" to be "real".

Now I don't know anything about the dad, but I have read her book and followed her w/her son for a long time. This isn't a new thing for her. I don't think she's lying.

I'd much , much rather see a diagnosis by someone trained than to hear a mothers "hunch". Kids die everyday based on a parents hunch with no treatment, far more than those under a physicians care. There are homeopathic and natural treatments that may help. But she's now claiming Evan had a touch of autism This sort of autism isn't a problem compared to watching the ones that shake their heads and hands, and rock back and forth at 16 years old, CNN doesn't want to deal with severe autism either.

I'm pretty sure this is just another grab by JM for attention, she goes a bit out of the way in her own career for notoriety. Today, the parents of autistic children want to know how she all of a sudden claims to have cured him. You can't blame them for wanting proof that he was indeed autistic. I think she's lying.
 
Being said parent who has used this diet and can validate the results from personal experience- who are these parents who want to know this cure? She didn't create this "cure". It has been around for YEARS. Many, many parents have used it with great success. Making this about whether or not she is lying (how would you know?) misses the point. Parents do need to hear about the diet. Scientists SHOULD be looking into it.

Personally, I've been in the situation where my HUNCH has saved my child's life, where I've had to push AGAINST specialists who knew I was wrong. I've had to do it on my own behalf as well. This country has become dependent on specialists (see the threads on govt schools- they teach you to trust only authorities, not yourself), so much so that most of the population seems to have lost their common sense in dealing with life's problems. You're right- however could a parent who lives with a child just KNOW that something is wrong with him without the specialist's opinion? Whatever could she have been thinking figuring it out all by herself with help from non-specialists per the medical community?

I don't understand why Jenny thinks her son is cured when autism isn't just about social factors.
 
The diet helps a child "come out" of his head, communicate, and get along in the world. Less meltdowns, better communication, eye contact. As she said it isn't a "cure" of everything, but it helps a child tremendously. So much so that most people meeting your child will assume he is normal, just like any other kid. Those who know someone with an autistic child, please research this diet and "leaky gut".
 
I do know about autism and aspergers. I just remember when she first came on she acted like she cured her child of autism then she went on about how some lady approached her on the street and said something about indigo and crystal.

I also know that the owner of GE Bob Wright (and chairman of NBC as of May 2007) and his wife Suzanne started Autism speaks which has raised millions of dollars to research autism.


Autism cannot be cured. It is a neurological difference.

There are extreme cases of autism and then the milder form called aspergers.

The worst part of autism is the sensory issues but if you watch all of these programs on Dr. Phil, Oprah put out there by Autism Speaks then you won't see much of a mention of the big issues that actually affect the autistic child but instead you'll see issues that affect the parents such as communication mostly.
Then you'll also see the demonization of the child and the parent as a victim.

One child on Dr. Phil was shown and there was no emphasis that the child also had tourettes but autism was emphasized.

The causes of autism? It could be the ingredients in the vaccines imo. Alot of parents start to see their children display autistic traits after vaccines.

What is commonly found in vaccines? Formaledhyde, aspertame and mercury. Alot of parents are claiming it's the mercury however, it could also be the aspertame considering autistic children and adults are picky about their food for a reason.
 
There are a lot of theories out there. One very interesting one is the leaky gut theory. Leaky gut is a symptom of autism. Now...what if it is a CAUSE? Leaky gut is casein and gluten "leaking" from the intestinal wall and entering the bloodstream. The proteins cross the blood brain barrier and have an OPIATE effect on the brain. Interesting, eh? So maybe we have 1. autism and 2. a leaky gut syndrome. Maybe the two are similar but not the same? Oh, and a side effect of the MMR is damage to the intestinal wall.

So maybe some kids who are "cured" (and many suffering right now from autism) were never actually autistic at all, whether they were diagnosed or not. Maybe they are suffereing from intestinal damage...

Well you would think that if it were intestinal damage, there would be a shorter life span? It is an interesting theory. I really do think it is the vaccines because of how many cases of parents noticing their children changing within a matter of days, weeks and a month after several vaccines.

This is yet another reason why we need Ron Paul or someone like him as president. I'm so sick and tired of parents feeling as though they have to do things they really object to. The parent has become regulated regarding their own children and fearful of the CPS coming after them. Then we have schools with ties to the drug companies. School psychologists and over prescribed ritalin and anti-depressants. These people care nothing of the future of the children. All they care about is their own big fat banks.

reading this reminds me of all the military that are forced to take shots and they are clueless to their effects ,the whole vaccination thing is scary really

unbelievable that you would be quoting mainstream media and the medical industry as the answer. haven't you learned yet that these people are totally corrupt and are not in the business of helping anyone but themselves? until and unless the people start relying on their own wisdom and alternative healing therapies, they will continue to be mislead and brainwashed by the powers that be.

Ah, you beat me to it. That case validated a lot of parents.

No link, no link...tested over and over during studies where often a majority of the scientists had financial ties to the vaccine industry. Yet in studies where scientists has no ties and links were found they were "discredited" because the scientists were not part of the industry. How sane is that? Only believe studies which come from the govt or the vaccine industry? :rolleyes:
