Jay Leno in five minutes!

So the government upholds property rights by violating them? What if I don't want the government agents' help in handling a potential dispute with the seller? Should I still have to pay?

Your forcing other people to handle disputes outside of the govt, is violating their rights. That is the purpose of govt. whether you like it or not. The govt. can't do this for free. In this case the govt. is not forcing you to do anything or pay anything. If you want to purchase something (i.e. enter into a contract) then a built in cost of that contract is the payment for govt. to handle the jurisdiction in the event that there is a dispute. If you don't want to pay it, don't enter into the contract.

You never can tell with Johnny Rotten. I hope he was giving a favorable shout out to RP, but my wife and I both got the feeling that maybe that was not the case. Could be that Rotten had no idea what RP stands for - just heard he was a Republican candidate and was taunting him about Iraq. Wouldn't surprise me although I hope not.

But it doesn't really matter because that was a great interview. And Rp shaking Rotten's hand was priceless.

he was humble and a perfect gentleman ... God speed ron paul !
his authority is the constitution ~ he should use it as source more to explain taxes etc ... the founder's law and explaining how we are breaking the laws of the land will bond well with american voters , esp in NH ... he did very well & i saw the commercial ad #1 just before show and frankly it came across just fine on hd big screen

kill the banks

Thanks for the quick youtube clip!

Does anyone have the clip of RP shaking Rotten's hand???? I would love to see that!

President Paul and Johnny Rotten is going to be one of those immortal moments like President Nixon and Elvis shaking hands.

I don't think so. THey would have heard the interview where the Dr. clearly talked about getting out of Iraq.

Talk about being clutch under pressure...

This was a huge moment for Dr. Paul and the campaign... High fives all around!
I initially got the impression that Ron was medicated somewhat, because he was chilled out, I mean waaayychilled out, and the message rang so clear and Leno the big lovable hampster practically pitched Ron's message for him. I just think everything was in sync here and Ron was relaxed and not in any pain (at 72 pain is something to consider, even if you are healthy as can be)

Ron is a medical doctor and obviously took care of himself for this one. On Leno, no less, the most relaxed and easily accessible interview I've ever seen with him.

Wow, nothing like making completely ridiculous leaps of logic.
