(CNN)President Donald Trump's inner circle is beginning to split over his ongoing refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election, as Jared Kushner and first lady Melania Trump advised him to come to terms with President-elect Joe Biden's victory and his adult sons pressed him and allies to keep fighting.

Kushner, the President's son-in-law and senior adviser, has approached him to concede, two sources told CNN. The first lady, according to a separate source familiar with the conversations, has privately said the time has come for him to accept the election loss.

Meanwhile, Trump's two adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, have urged allies to continue pressing on and they have pushed Republicans and supporters to publicly reject the results even as CNN and other news organizations projected the race for Biden on Saturday.

The President, who was at his golf course in Sterling, Virginia, on Saturday when the race was called, has not denied the outcome of the election privately even as he does so publicly, sources told CNN. But he's continuing to push his attorneys to pursue legal challenges that would delay formal certification of the results, and he has made no public indication that he is ready to accept the results of the election.

Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller in a tweet Sunday morning denied that Kushner has approached Trump, although CNN stands by its reporting. "This story is not true," said Miller. "Jared has advised @realDonaldTrump to pursue all available legal remedie

Tucker Carlson, the Fox News host, expressed dismay at President Donald Trump’s leadership on Monday, criticizing the president’s handling of mass protests that have engulfed cities across the country and singling out an influential member of his family.
Carlson, who often uses his show to ardently defend the president and attack Trump’s foes, lambasted the nation’s leaders across the political spectrum for letting protests get out of hand. He also went after Jared Kushner, saying “no one has more contempt” for the president’s supporters than Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser. He accused Kushner of breaking starkly from Trump’s platform and talking Trump out of taking decisive actions.

"sources" ...

At this point, the most reasonable conclusion is that these "journalists" are all just making shit up ...

By today's standards of "journalism" (LOL), any janitor who happens to empty the wastebaskets in the White House kitchens would probably count as being "a source close to POTUS" ...

I would take the reliability of the 2 sources of Axios.com over CNN (where Trump crony Jeff Zucker is president) any day of the week...

According to 2 sources Donald’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has advised President Donald to not concede and pursue "legal remedies" to win the election.

One of these sources claims that Donald’s team already knows he has lost the election. But is trying to use several corrupt lawyers, including Rudy Giuliani, to win by a legal fight

Very possible that media made it up.
It's also possible that Kushner himself is the "source" of this leak to media for perception management seeing the writing on the wall. He's not a private person, he's senior White House advisor, what is stopping him to come out and deby this report and express his real view.
Another interesting and telling part of this story is that liberal democrat son-in-law's influence over MAGA revolution's future is being given so much importance here and elsewhere.

Only part have been able to confirm from other sources (Bush's own website) is this:

Former two-term GOP President and Christian base rockstar George W. Bush congratulates Biden on win and his 'patriotic' victory speech as he tells Trump to concede because the election 'was fundamentally fair and its outcome is clear'

The only fake news in this thread is paid troll enhanced_deficit. And perhaps all the suckers that get drawn into his clickbait threads.
