Yeah, as much as I'm glad the campaign is taking charge...couldn't they at least ask for ideas of the naming? Road to S Carolina? Just not very inspiring - nor will it bring in NEW donors.

They need to be making something new and fresh to expand the donor base!

Will throw something at this but I still plan to work on the grassroot's Bailout for Freedom moneybomb for late this month.

Personally, I don't see the point of Pledging and all that. I've never tried to drive anyone to a pledge page. I hype the moneybomb on the moneybomb day.

We need to have a RALLY with the money bomb.

Turn it into a grassroots event nationwide on the 14th!

Have one locally in YOUR city/state and get those around you excited and wanting to be apart of something BIG!

Rally the Republic!

We can either keep asking people to pull out their credit cards and donate OR invite them to a rally, event, concert, sign holding, movie watching or SOMETHING.

I think new folks would LOVE to go to something versus just tossing down some cash on a money bomb. Get people involved and then the donations will happen AND be larger because they would end up LIKE US lol.

I don't think we do that this time around. This isn't an ideal one to do it for either. It's South Carolina based. Did we do anything on the ground for Tea Party this year? I didn't hear about it if we did. Huge fail on our part. I just don't think we do that this year.

What is this Bailout for Freedom moneybomb? And why is this the first time I've heard of this?

A few of us were hashing it out in a thread a couple days before NH (one thread called Bailout for Freedom and the other Millions to win) but it kind of got swallowed up by posts on primary night. We were just thinking it might be time for another exciting, grassroots moneybomb with a powerful theme and some fun art. The campaign had kind of said late January and mid February would both be ok times for the grassroots to host a moneybomb. Then news of this came out so folks are focusing on it but I still think that we should work on Bailout for Freedom...for mid February if folks think late Januart is too soon.
