From David Freddoso of The Corner:

This just came in my e-mail...

WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday, January 22 – the 35th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision – Texas Congressman and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will hold a press conference with pro-life activist Norma Leah McCorvey. McCorvey, who runs Crossing over Ministry, is "Jane Roe" of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

What/Who: Announcement by Norma McCorvey ("Jane Roe") and Congressman Ron Paul

It takes place tomorrow at 10:30 am at the Phoenix Park Hotel on Capitol Hill. The campaign would not directly answer whether she's going to endorse Paul, but they sure hinted at it.

Wow - if it happens, it might be REALLY BIG News!

nice.. but I have NO belief that the MSM will report it.

Thats true.. Jesus himself can come down from heaven to endorse Ron Paul and the media wouldn't report it..

Thats why we need to get RP on Howard Stern.. He reaches Millions.. Popular talk shows is the only way to fight the MSM on the media side of things

.

Did the campaign get this out on the AP media list for tomorrow? This better be on C-SPAN at the minimum. If nobody sees it or reports on it, it is a moot point.

I have mixed feelings about this. And I'm not sure Howard Stern listeners even bother to vote, do they? But then again, if they didn't in the past, maybe they will now.

Oh, no, they'd report that, they'd just spin it somehow...

Last ditch desperate attempts from no-chance longshot fringe Presidential candidate, Ron Paul has gained endorsement by Jesus Himself. Mike Huckabee responded by claiming that he is the real Jesus and Ron Paul ought to stop the silly publicity stunts.

Remember what the good Dr. says about group-think and categorization.
I listen to Stern every day, and I have voted in every election that I was qualified to vote in, and they were all well-researched votes too.
When we put people into groups it does nothing to advance the movement. This is about realizing and respecting the sovreignty of the individual.

And a great big bababooey to you too!

This may win over some Christians or evangelicals?

Pete

That would be the hope - if they hear about it.

I'm sure everybody is right that MSM won't care or mention it, but wouldn't the pro-lifers have their own ways of spreading information? I doubt the MSM covers much of anything related to that cause.

Not a listener, but Stern doesn't get the big money for being "shocking" - he has a huge audience, predominantly male, 18-49 years old. In short, he's RP's wet dream. If even they don't vote, they would bring new bodies and new money to the support base.

And, quite frankly, on average I think they're more mainstream than the existing support base. :)

so.. how much could this help us???

honestly??!

EDIT: this is not rhetorical, it is a serious question.

The election was a huge issue on Howard in 2004.. he talked about the election half the time for months..

We need RP on Stern.. Period

Booo... the abortion issue is not good for this movement. Young people are overwhelmingly pro choice.

I'd like to see some data to back up that claim. I think this is great news since it allows us to tap into the evangelical base, which is quite large. Remember, we need 60+ million people in order to win in the general election. That's a pretty big tent.
