He may not be relevant in the eyes of a libertarian however Kentucky has a lot of social conservatives, how do they feel about this guy is what's important, Rand is walking a tightrope in that State between the purists among us and the social cons.

"Grayson continues to run behind Rand Paul, but he hopes recent endorsements from Dobson and retiring Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) can help him pick off some of Paul’s voters."

Did Bunning rescind his endorsement of Rand or did the article get it wrong?

James Dobson is no longer with Focus on the Family. But he still loves fundraising (send $$$ NOW1!!).

Dobson’s family squabble

Posted by Steve Rabey

Dr James DobsonIt was a busy New Year’s weekend for Mark Barna, religion reporter for the Colorado Springs Gazette, who covered the growing split between James Dobson and Focus on the Family, the powerful and prominent evangelical parachurch organization he has led for decades.

Focus, which has struggled with declining income and layoffs, has for years been concerned about its future and its transition to a new generation of leaders. Dobson resigned as chairman of Focus’s board in February 2009 and is scheduled to host his last Focus radio program on Feb. 28, 2010. He recently began spelling out his unexpected plans for what he will do after that.

Dobson tried to use nepotism to force Focus to accept his divorced son as their new leader.

That didn't go over too well; they drummed Dobson out of their org and threw him under the bus.

What a loser!!!!

Trayson and he will be very happy together, in the Men's Room at Lexington International Airport.

James Dobson IS somebody in the Christian world and this WILL help Grayson win Christian voters. :(

Sarah Palin > Anyone

Seriously anything short of Zombie Reagan isn't worth putting too much weight into.

True. I forgot Palin endorsed Rand. I still kinda think that Dobson's endorsement will sway some Christian voters. Whether it'll be enough, I don't know. I think some people are gonna be downright confused. Palin says to vote for one guy, but Dobson says to vote for the other. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
