How about instead I continue to exercise my freedom to mock a public figure (you do realize that running for office makes you a public figure, right?) and at the same time allow you the freedom to continue to discredit your own campaign?

Jack, what is/was your rationale for apparently refusing to supply answers for Project Votesmart's "Political Courage Test"? The test seems on the surface to be a good way for you to get your message out and make your views on issues of the day clear.
