Just finished watching the debate in its entirety. Neither were all that impressive, Jack could've hammered TJ a lot more than he did. I love watching TJ simply for his social commentary but he is completely ignorant when it comes to monetary/economic policy. TJ definitely pulled a Krugman at the end of the debate there, whining about how one-dimensional Jack was and how it is difficult to debate someone like that.
Liberals are used to feeling intellectually and morally superior and they tend to spew out vitriol and personal attacks when they feel legitimately challenged. A principled libertarian will do that to them, unlike a traditional neoconservative.
