I've been drafted (to run), what should I do?

Run as a Republican. You will lose, but if you do far better than the average Republican, that shows to the GOP that nominating liberty-minded candidates is the best way to win urban districts.

Maybe Elon Musk can run independent.

You've gotta be kidding, I saw Elon and a good friend of his at a SpaceX event. That friend, was U.S Senator John Cornyn. Cornyn bragged about how he helped 'create jobs' I guess by getting contracts for SpaceX.

Not even sure if this is a real post, or a troll. If you are running for office the FIRST thing you would do is tell everyone WHERE and WHAT Office. To me I think you are running just because you were asked (or "drafted" as you put it.) That type of campaign is unfair to you, the LP, and the people whatever office this is for would represent. I am sorry but if you are not in it to win it, not serious about putting the time, effort, and even your own money. DON'T RUN.

Great, do you have $200 to donate for a 6 month website run?

And I don't need that many volunteers if I have enough money. Right now I have neither, and don't have a source for either.

If you are paying $200 for 6 months of web service you are for sure not a conservative.

you need both volunteers and money to win in politics.

Run. Even if you lose by a landslide, you're increasing publicity of the LP and LP beliefs. You never know if this will help change someone's mind or at least get some sheeple to think.

It looks like Cleaner44 can help you with your website. Also make use of social media since it's free and an easy way to get your name out. Make a twitter, a YouTube and post some videos, a FB page, etc. You'll get lots of followers and retweets on Twitter from random libertarians if you tweet, retweet, and use hashtags. Recruit lots of volunteers to help you out, use social media dashboard apps like tweetdeck to maximize your time while covering most of the major social media sites, and advertise volunteer campaign positions on Linkedin. I'm sure you'll get lots of willing college students looking for opportunities to get involved/gain experience, and retirees.
