Ha, completely owned. I think many people here that support Ron have the misunderstood idea that this nation is not permitted to go to war unless we are attacked. Nothing of the sort in the Constitution. All it requires is a vote.

We should only go to war if attacked, but there's nothing "unconstitutional" about it. That's just a fact.

But many people here choose to completely ignore GJs second half of that statement. Rand has said the same thing, that "Israel is an important friend and ally." Both are simply playing the game.

It's in the power to make treaties.

It's in the Congressional power to declare war for whatever reason chosen.

Now show me immigration in the Constitution. Tit for tat.

Yeah but most who run around so called "protecting Israel" simply have biblical reasoning behind it and not our countries best interests IMHO of course. Why do WE have to protect Israel again? They don't have enough firepower yet? Israel can protect itself just like every other country on the face of this earth and what makes ISRAEL our friend again minus bible references compared to all other nations?

I think any President would only jump in if they were facing annihilation. They've proven they can take care of themselves, but if Ron Paul were to state that he would NOT defend Israel under any circumstance, it would only ENCOURAGE war, death, violence.
