Its my fault that we lost Maine.

Going into Iowa, I made almost 4500 phone from home calls.

Since then, I've only made 2500 more.

Those 2000 calls, even 1000 would have been the difference. The latest phone from home campaign actually highlights RP's positions. Yesterday someone told me that they didnt know his commitment to life, that he delivered over 4,000 babies. The day before I spoke to someone who was unaware that he's a Veteran, having chosen to serve his country instead of opting for a deferment.

I'm so sorry. I'm so f*cking sorry.

Well maybe this will cheer you up. At my caucus last Saturday, we had 3 id'd supporters show up. And we got 2 votes. The 3rd id'd supporter was annoyed very much by the endless phone calls. I doubt this person was actually a real Ron Paul supporter, but she was in her 80s, vice chair of the town I think, and was on our lists.

It is everyone's fault. We all could have done more.

Meh, perhaps if we all changed our names to "Ron Paul" and spent Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in Maine...instead of at our homes. Last I checked though, when I ran a campaign, I was the one that was out talking to the voters.

He was in Maine as early as Thursday.

Of course, the people that complained that Paul's townhall meetings were full of fans and that they should be kept hush-hush so they will be full of undecideds then complained that he wasn't announcing any townhalls in Maine.

I have often wondered whether Paul supporters should calm down a bit. The excess noise may not be helping the cause. It has been well-established that Paul supporters are by far the most enthusiastic. What we need now is to learn a lesson from the other candidates: They have quiet, reserved supporters. Those are the folks we need more of.

We didn't lose Maine! We're winning people, just keep working and have faith. We're picking up delegates, and with any luck and God's help, we'll come out on top of this whole damn thing. It's better we stay underground and jump out with all our delegates at the last minute while nobody notices and the beautiful politicians like Mitt Romney win the beauty contests as he should.

No one's fault but the voters.

There's no way that they can't have heard of Ron Paul by now, so there's no excuse. I can only conclude that the voters are intentionally trying to sabotage the country.
