We all knew this was happening. The media should have been probing banksters after the first QE didn't work and where all the money went.

If it doesn't hurt the status quo to report it, they're all over it. If the status quo wants it squelched, they'll never report it before it becomes common knowledge.

Why do they report it at all? To spare their reputations among those to whom their modus operandi isn't painfully obvious.
