It's a fun test, but a lot of the questions are based on loaded assumptions, or they mix political philosophy with personal attitudes (for example, the question about whether manufacturers are more important than artists). I think there are methodologically superior quizzes in this same vein that, sadly, don't get the same amount of traffic as the Political Compass. Here's one I think does a great job.

I've taken it before, and I'm sure many others have. I end up much further right and much further down they you do XD I got like 9.something right and 9.something down iirc.

Exactly, that's one of the things I hate about it too, especially the social questions at the end. It makes no real distinction between your personal views and the role of the state. So I try to answer the questions to the best of my ability as the role of the state.
