It is highly likely to end soon. Netanyahu called Pope Leo and apologized. It was 99.9% likely an errant projectile.

Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Everything that comes from "this world", meaning, this world-order, is subject to the Wicked One, and that especially includes the military, which is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, carnal idol on earth, even greater than Tinseltown, OF and Pornhub. We're going to need to dig deeper than that if we actually intend to fight with spiritual weaponry:
The first step in spiritual warfare is inverting the carnal understanding of war and power. When you lash out at your enemy, the ego feels powerful, because you are feeding the carnal energy within. You feel like the lion beating down his opponent. It might be a satisfying feeling, but it is just a feeling. Even within the carnal human order, we know this -- those who quickly give in to the carnal urge to violence are invariably at the lowest rung of the order of power in this world. But that's not because this world-order is not violent, it's that the violence of fists, knives and guns is insufficient to measure up to the violence of the demonic realm. They are not satisfied with merely killing the body, they want eternal violence; they want to murder the soul. Therefore, those who work for the murder of men's souls (to drag them into hell) are far higher up the foodchain of this demonic world-order than those who lash out with their fists. The demonic world-order approves of the violence of the petty violent, no doubt, but they are small fry in the grand infernal scheme.
When this is properly understood by believers, it should invert our own understanding of power. The devil is not such a fool as to imagine that physical violence can decide anything. He loves physical violence and lusts after it, but he also knows that power does not come from physical violence. Rather, the devil's own religion is hatred-itself. Unbounded, infinite violence, ever-spreading agony and woe, from now on, forever. That is what he desires, because that is the opposite of what God desires. In fact, no power at all comes from the barrel of a gun, only the fleeting, momentary feeling of power. Everyone who wielded the gun in past generations has since been interred into the earth where they rotted away. Nothing substantial or permanent came from their wielding the gun, it was all bulldozed and replaced by something else entirely, which they had never imagined. And this is the true nature of the satanic world "order", if it can even be called that. Never-ending futility as men rise up, generation upon generation, murder one another in pointless blood-orgies, and then go back into the dirt from which they came. That, forever, is what the devil seeks, it is what he loves (John 8:44, etc.) The eternal death of man.
And it is this very world-order which Jesus came to destroy and hurl into the lake of fire. This world is so corrupt that it must be burn down to atoms, and created anew (2 Pet. 3:7, Rev. 21:5, etc.) Thus, as soldiers in the army of God, believers in Jesus do not fight with sword or gun (John 18:36). There is nothing in this place that we are fighting for, save for men's souls. Every last particle of it is going to be destroyed, anyway. Rome, London, Jerusalem, Washington DC, Beijing, Moscow, etc. etc. etc. --- every last capital, every last territory, every last ruler, everything that is not in the Lord Jesus Christ -- meaning, redeemed by his sovereign decree -- is already doomed to the flames. Their fate is absolutely inevitable, fait accompli. The church Age is not even a war, in that respect, it's just a mop-up operation. The war was already won at the Cross and the Empty Tomb. The conquest of this wicked world by the Gospel of Jesus is more inevitable than the sunrise (Matthew 24:35).

No, that's not how this works, that's not how anything works.
Be careful what you wish for. If you think you're ready for collective-punishment, I assure you, that you are not. Everybody all Old Testament until divine fire starts literally raining down from heaven. You're not tall enough to ride that ride. Run to Jesus and repent of your sins, or perish in the flames of hell. That's the only concern that is actually facing you, and that is all the more you need to worry about anything happening in Gaza. The question of whether you are in Jesus is infinitely more important to you than anything happening in Gaza, whether Hamas or otherwise. If you think otherwise, you do not understand how fine the thread by which you are dangling over the open pit of the lake of fire...
