The last of Ron Paul's embedded "Print" was pulled in March, at the same time that the last of Newt Gingrich's embedded Print was pulled. Newt's fall from grace was announced, Ron Paul's ran concurrently on the scroll at the bottom of the screen. I posted the bad news when it occurred, for all the good it did.

The all-important NARRATIVE is that Ron Paul has suspended his campaign.

Yeah I have considered that. I have more reasons to not like Benton than just that email. I understand that Ron may have just wanted to let people know what is up and to not mislead people into thinking he had much of a chance to actually get the nomination with quite possibly the last money bomb coming up, but still it wasn't necessary to put out.

Benton though has been making it appear that he can "deliver" votes for Romney that he has no power to do. He has said some crazy stuff for a campaign manager to say, like maybe Ron could be VP? I really don't know why Ron hired him in the first place, and I am really surprised he has kept him for so long.

Just saying: Ron still has a day job. There's still the push for HR459 (Audit the Fed). If you want Ron on the news even with the primary blackout, get your congress critters to co-sponsor. There were 320 co-sponsors last time, and a few in the senate.The bill got watered down in the senate when Bernie Sanders, author of the senate version, compromised, This time, so far, there are over 220 co-sponsors and Rand is the author of the senate version, with more co-sponsors than Bernie had.
The people of TX-14 elected Ron Paul to congress and he has just several months to tie up loose ends representing them, however things go in the primary and general election for president.

Could be Ron knows that if the Romney people think they have won, they will not show up, and will not go out and vote. But the Ron Paulies surely will, whether they think Romney has won or not. A feint, if you will.

The fact is if you have been supporting Ron Paul for the last few years you would know it is because the MSM has blacked him out. Most of the coverage Ron has received over the past 5-6 years has been negative in an attempt to marginalize him. I am curious as to your reason for pointing out his lack of media coverage of late.

If I'm thinking positively, I look at it as a show of strength. He is proving he can win without even actively campaigning.

If I'm thinking negatively, I wonder aloud why the campaign would still ask for money when it doesn't plan to spend it on campaigning. And then I really get bitter that this whole bummer of a situation just HAD to happen before the Texas and California contests. And then I just try to stop thinking about politics all together.

So it depends on my mood really.

The fact is if you have been supporting Ron Paul for the last few years you would know it is because the MSM has blacked him out. Most of the coverage Ron has received over the past 5-6 years has been negative in an attempt to marginalize him. I am curious as to your reason for pointing out his lack of media coverage of late.

As I said, there is a recent clip of Maddow BEGGING him to come on the show which certainly implies she has been inviting him a lot recently and he is declining. Whatever the motives are, her coverage of him has been very positive the last few months. So that means the most likely reason he is not appearing on her show (and from this fact I am guessing it applies elsewhere) is not because of never being invited or expecting to get run over by terrible questioning, but instead for strategic reasons. The most likely scenario to me is that he is declining such appearances for some specific set of strategic reasons that I wish I could understand better.

i do enjoy the few supportive Maddow vids, but wont like Dr.Paul to go on her show, I dont trust her at all.

He was on some cable a week ago, he hosted squawk box etc. But last campaign they cut him out until it was over THEN had him on tons. I'm sure they will have him on tons once he is no threat. He draws ratings.

Maddow is a special case. After what she did to Rand which was intellectually dishonest at best, I think Ron simply doesn't like her.

I ask again, why he is CHOOSING not to appear on a show that he has appeared on many times in the past and a show that has put a positive light on his campaign over the last few months. What you would speculate his primary strategic motivation is for not taking this free coverage?

Maddow is blacklisted. She did it to herself, this is pretty much common knowledge and isn't anything new.
