Is the MSM bracing for something unexpected?? Low turnout now mentioned on 3 networks.

Right around 3pm CNN started reporting low turnout at multiple precincts. Fox followed and so did MSNBC. It seems like they have all shifted to a Low turnout theme. Anyone else seeing this?

sounds like the "iowa doesnt matter if ron paul wins" excuse

"Low turnout means ron paul win doesnt mean anything"

Well, but of course. They have to explain why Newt will win in a landslide over their boy Mitt.

It has always been speculated RP would do well with a low turn out, since people that support him have more tenacity to go vote. It will be interesting to see if the weather changed much. The one thing the media can not control is the weather!

This is NOT completely true.

Multiple counties are getting 'tornado warnings' in SC today. You can selectively give radical weather warnings like this in counties that lean certain ways, and it can most certainly affect votes. In fact, I believe most counties getting the warnings lean Gingrich, if I understand correctly (but don't quote me on that).

However, I doubt they would do this to ever affect Ron Paul votes, since they know we'll come out no matter what. They can, however, affect the Mitt/Gingrich numbers by at least a couple percent by choosing the scope of counties that get this warning.

Imagine the badass driving around, outrunning tornadoes like in the movie "Twister," just to vote for Ron Paul.

Bad weather. It works to our advantage. Old people who support newt, romney and santorum will probably stay home. Ron Paul supporters and old people who support Ron Paul are more likely to walk through broken glass to get to the ballot boxes.

I wish there was bad weather during the day of voting! We should do a rain dance and pray to the rain god to get rain in the next states haha. Maybe FLorida will get a hurricane.

Newt is the chosen one. I am convinced now. Skousen called it last February:

Could be curtains for Santorum....his voter demographics always seemed to on the older side and it's fair to reason that the elderly will be more apt to stay home in bad weather.
