Is the man behind our fantastic ads's wife really in a Romney-PAC?

All of this is in reference to a thread that Sofia posted that linked to this very conspiratorial page:

hxxp://www.tomatobubble.com/id145.html

As someone said in another thread, this can also be seen as Romney having a traitor in his ranks.

Who knows. Downs must do whatever the campaign tells him to do. Afterall, this is his job.

There is enough material on Romney to knock him favorability down 20 points in NH if they would make it.
He has been "attacked" over and over again in debates, interviews and ads by other candidates why do you think a Paul ad would have a significantly different result than all other attempts?

No he hasn't. They've only been told he is a flip flopper. The power of visual is much more important. They can actually SHOW his flips.

I want a condensed version of this for TV

Yeah knock Romney down in NH blah blah. Do you know who a lot of soft support after Mitt goes to? Not Paul but Newt. So help Newt out after destroying him with ads does not make sense. After Iowa there might see an attack ad on Romney after Newt gets 4th or less and dives in the polls more in NH. Right now Newt is on RP heels in NH, attacking Romney there only helps Newt into 2nd place. A third place behind Newt in NH would not be good.

if i'm being feckless and/or foolish, if i cannot help ron paul in new hampshire, i'd rather help jon huntsman than newt gingrich.

Um, the reason that there haven't been any anti Romney ads, isn't because the ad guy's wife works for a Romney PAC. It is because the campaign hasn't ASKED him to do those ads yet. The ad editor, isn't the one running the ad campaign, he just makes what the campaign wants.

Then change the topic. Why do you think the campaign hasn't asked yet?

That is how you attack. Even Doug Wead said today serial hypocrisy was effective. If too much Romney attacking sends them to Newt, then you already have Serial Newt ready to air.

This isn't rocket science, they should be doing what works. And they should have the money to do it.

The guy makes the ad the campaign tells him to. Let's please trust Dr. Paul and the campaign to make these decisions. All this second-guessing isn't productive at all.

Paladin, read "Game Change". You will have much more insight into the process. I learned a lot just reading the stuff in that book and there was a lot of juicy inside information. The ad man makes hundreds of commercials, all ready at a moments notice, with slight variations for each of them. Hundreds. But the ad man does not put the ads on the air. It is up to Benton and RP.

PLEASE trust RP and Benton this time around. They have not failed us. Some of you all are stuck in the 2007 mentality of "the campaign sucks. They're idiots". Come on!

Oh Gawd, my first one star thread :(

I didn't mean to stir up a controversy, I was just curious to see if anyone else thought this could mean something about cooperation between the two campaigns like discussion of a VP run on one side or something. I'm just a bit jittery, being so close to the caucuses. Nothing more.

Oh, and news flash - - -

There are people who work for Ron Paul 2012 who are NOT politically aligned with him. To expect otherwise is bordering on insanity.

Don't worry. We all have one star threads at some point. God knows I've had a few.

they're probably already made. they will run when the campaign decides to run them. the ad creator doesn't set campaign policy. she just created ad. what a bunch of fucking morons are posting in this thread.

You don't have to call people names. It was just a discussion, and a friendly one at that. We are all on the same team.

Shouldn't call people names. But, these discussions sap a lot of time and energy away from things that actually help the R3Volution.

Don't sweat it. :)

Everyone is charged up right now. Once Iowa happens, then we'll start to get into a rhythm and the butterflies will subside. Let's just keep focusing on Jan. 3rd.

The truth is on our side.
