Is RP already talking compromise on HR 1207?

With all of the momentum on HR 1207, shouldn't this be the exact moment that RP keeps hammering on the notion that the People are waking up and contacting their Congressmen to support HR 1207? As if the will of the people WILL IN FACT translate into even far more extensive co-sponsorship? Shouldn't these be the talking points right now? In this video he is talking about potential HR 1207 metamorphosis into another bill, or incorporated with Kucinich's. He says that the likelihood of it passing "free standing" is unlikely.

I don't understand why he doesn't leave this type of talk for later. Is this possibly some kind of strategy? Anybody have any theories, here?

I thinks he's telling you that this is going to take time. We're not simply going to wave a magic wand and be over with this.

I'm just guessing here, so take it for what it's worth...

Even if every single person in the House signs on as a co-sponsor, HR1207 still has to get through the Senate. The Senate is going to be a much, much tougher fight because there are proportionally fewer senators who have *any* sympathy toward the idea of auditing the Fed - even among the so-called Republicans.

Getting RP's bill through the House is a huge victory, but by no means is it the end of the war. If it can't clear the Senate on its own, then we're back to square one.

Dr. Paul MAY be considering trying to:

A) tack HR1207 onto another piece of "must-pass" legislation (similar to the "concealed carry allowed in National Parks" deal that was passed on the back of the credit card reform bill recently)

or

B) Allow enough compromise on the measure to make sure it gets passed in SOME form. Remember, if and when the audit becomes law, it will be much easier to go back and legislatively tweak and revise various portions of it. That sort of "incremental" approach as been used against us for years now by the anti-freedom crowd. It's about time we started fighting fire with fire.

Just guesses, like I said.

But for now, I'm still betting all my chips on the wisdom and integrity of Dr. Ron Paul.

But it will work best if it is tacked to a preexisting bill with a name like, "Protect the children from rampaging polar bears" or something to that effect.

Just like the first bankster bailout bill was named:,

"Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act of 2007
To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide earnings assistance and tax relief to members of the uniformed services, volunteer firefighters, and Peace Corps volunteers, and for other purposes."

I mean if you vote against that, you hate heroes......

Wow...that guy is ridiculous!

He never even mentions Ron Paul (I suppose he just used it in his title to garner a higher view count.) He just sits there half-naked, whispering vague non-sequiturs and cackling maniacally every few seconds. Then he holds up Andrew Jackson as a hero yet attempts to discredit the only man in Washington who's actually trying to end the Fed? I guess the only heroes this guy is comfortable with are the dead ones.
