Agreed. The Libertarian Party was Linux.... They may have been right, but too nerdy and content with living in their mom's basement.

RP is a Mac, without all the 'hipper-than-you' attitude.

Linux has failed because of ease of use issues

Fix that and undercut the competition while keeping all the same features, and you'll see it take off

The recent opening up of video card drivers will help, but the reality is that the only OS rising significantly is Mac OSX because of the crossover effect. Good thing Mac OSX is Unix-Based huh?

The vast majority of the ease-of-use issues have been resolved. I expect that driver support for current Linux distros is better than Vista. The main stumbling block remaining would be leading-edge gaming.
