Is Ron paul spending money in Ohio??

Other than the last minute emergency drive to get Ron on the ballot in Ohio (due to the treachery of Doug Joseph, apparently), the Ohio campaign has not done much. We have to buy our own materials (many of us are nearly broke due to the idiotic policies that Ron is fighting against), and can't get answers from headquarters. I figured this out pretty early on. I'm a precinct leader, but can't get any materials unless I pay for them. Where did almost $30 million go? It certainly didn't go to ads or putting materials in the hands of the grassroots supporters.

Lets all just give up! That'll make a difference!

We've been duped by this crowd and those of us that saw the writing on the wall early on were derided by the loyalists and told to go away.

We've gone from "Ron Paul for President 2008" to "just wait till we take over the GOP then you'll get your liberty back."

There never was a secret plan or strategy. We've been on our own from the start and we're gonna be left there when its over.

I know I'm in the majority of believers that saw this campaign as our last stand. Too bad the campaign staff didn't see it too. They thought there'd be a next time. And so they dropped back to protect the sure thing. Oh well.

The dollars crashing, my home's lost its value, plants are closing & manufacturing is all but gone, my children are going to be drafted in the endless wars and gas prices and home heating oil is no longer affordable.

Anyway, the snow looks nice.

Yeah, the snow "looks" nice, but I'm getting really sick of having to blow it out of my driveway and shovel it off the walks. :(

Gas and heating oil -- you got it! Fortunately I was smart enough to think ahead and buy a SMALL house (well insulated) and I have a fireplace than can help reduce the heating bills (plus some land with trees). And garden for some veges...

Thinking about getting some chickens (for eggs mainly) and maybe some rabbits (the wild ones are a bit, well... "stringy") -- but the stupid NAIS is already active in my state, so not sure...

As to the campaign staff... I had my first suspicions back in late September when they treated the $1,000 per person "private briefing" donors like dirt after the Chicago Rally.

Now, with 20/20 hindsight and the FEC reports, I'm pretty convinced that -- at a minimum -- they were incompetent and just "playing" at this all along. (At worst, major funds were "channeled" but still digging on that so it's pure speculation right now.)

Nothing else really explains it.

The secret strategy WAS in fact "Rope-A-Dope" -- but WE were the targets.

BTW, I've recently gone back and looked at the George Stephanopoulos interview again (you know the one) and I'm seeing his comments and especially THE QUESTION in a whole different light ...now. :(
