It certainly is physical abuse. However, you are the parent. While what you did is certainly wrong, it isn't our business it jail you at taxpayer expense for such child abuse.

P.S. Circ. is certainly worse at it is not child abuse, it is child sexual mutilation. Either way, it is certainly wrong. Perhaps piercing a baby's ears is equal to slapping a baby a dozen times while child circ. is equal to slapping a baby a couple hundred times. Unless you are an Orthodox Jew, than child circ. is perhaps equal to slapping a baby a 1,000 times as you risk giving the baby every single STD at the same time.

I am not saying circ. should be illegal, I just think that people should make informed decisions on it, like my uncle did. If people want it to happen, that is fine. My guess is that just about 0% of people will want it to happen to them, if the are fully informed about it.

I agree. My guess is that 99.99% of people that give it a fair shake would agree that a person that isn't mutilated beyond recognition is preferable to a shell of a human.

I am sorry that you are a shell of a human. My parents were also partially influenced by a Jewish tradition and I am also not a complete person. It has greatly limited my life and made me a far less useful person to society. However, I have taken the extremely high road and not blamed my parents for the crime against humanity.

While I understand why some people think your and my parents should go to jail for a decade a more for child abuse (and the worst kind of child abuse, at that) I take the high road. I don't think anyone should go to jail for this crime against humanity, even though it is one of the worst crimes is the history of humans. I just want to move on. I want progress and freedom. I want to move on beyond the horrible abuse and work towards liberty!
