Is it too late....

Ha. This ought to be an interesting thread. It's give me a reason to re-register and vote. Otherwise I'm sitting this one out. Forever maybe.

LOL. Sure. Why not? Will people then say "But Ron Paul is stealing votes from Rand who just suspended his campaign but didn't end it and might run on a delegate strategy?"

The movement needs to focus its energy on something other than the electoral process. Obviously it's so corrupted, it's FUBAR.

Gardening. We should all plant some form of garden, or some plants. Even one tomato plant.

Does anybody else get annoyed how people try to act like they can get Ron, Judge Nap, Tom Woods to run for office when they clearly don't want to do it? Ron doesn't want to be president and neither do those others. Focus on elections where decent people want the job rather than day-dreaming about something that is never going to happen.

It was a joke.

Something that I think we should be pursuing is blockchain voting, in online polls, local and national elections. With educational outreach the liberty movement could become a nexus for the open source voting movement amongst grassroots of many different parties.

Any person who actually wants the job is immediately out of my consideration.

How do we unite the liberty movement? It has been successfully divided and is now mostly warring factions.

He's 80. Let the guy spread the message on his own terms and enjoy his golden years. Running for POTUS does not allow for you to be 'flexible'.

i seriously think rand should tam up with gary johnson and run with him on the lib side. just that option i think on the ballot would make it close. might even start a fire to get a 3rd guy in the debates next time around

but yes the whole electoral process is so fucked up. ven with the best strategy, if they dont want you in, they will just change the rules and move you aside.

You said the movement needed to focus its energy on something else. I suggested gardening, maybe should have said farming? Getting people more independent and less dependent on things like boxed groceries.

Okay. You're new here so I'll cut you some slack. I thought you were being facetious. Most members here, or at least this used to be the case, are preppers to one degree or another. AKA survivalists. There are many archived threads on how to achieve it.

I was thinking the same thing. Now that we know that they didn't treat Rand any different than they treated Ron, I seriously think if Ron were offered the spot, he would just go full in. We remember in 2012 when the topic came up about Ron potentially running as a Libertarian but he turned it down because he was worried about Rand's political future. Now that they've both seen the treatment, I expect Ron and Rand to continue living their separate electoral lives while helping one another with advice if needed. Another good pick would be the Judge! :D
