Is Hillary Lying About a Chronic Thyroid Condition?
Feminist Camille Paglia asks if her constant cough is masking more serious problem

Philadelphia-based feminist Camille Paglia won’t be voting for Hillary Clinton in next week’s Pennsylvania primary, even going as far as suggesting something shady is going on with the former secretary of state’s hacking cough.
‘My tentative theory is that Hillary may have sporadic flare-ups of goiter, worsened under stress. Coughing is a symptom,’ Paglia wrote in a column taking down the Clinton candidacy on Salon.com.
Clinton has had a noticeable cough throughout the primary season explaining to a New York radio host this week that it was due to ‘allergy season.’
But Paglia didn’t buy it.
‘I’m just a Ph.D., not an M.D., but I’ll put my Miss Marple hat on here,’ she wrote.
’Am I the only one who noticed Hillary’s high-wrap collar, pallid, puffy face, and bulging eyes during her choleric New Hampshire primary concession speech in February?’ she mused, noting that Clinton was wearing an ‘unusually high collar’ again the next morning.
This is where the goiter theory comes in. Goiter is defined as a swelling of the neck due to a thyroid condition.
‘High collars mask a swollen throat,’ Paglia pointed out. ‘In serious cases, an operation might be necessary.’
Paglia argued that a chronic thyroid condition didn’t necessarily disqualify Clinton from serving as president, but, like everything in politics, the alleged cover-up was the problem.
She wrote, ‘I don’t like being lied to – by candidates, campaign staffs, or their media sycophants.’
The campaign did not respond to a request for comment regarding Paglia’s claims.
Clinton released her medical records last summer several months after the announced her White House run.
